16.01.2022 Anyone struggling with snatching right now? My eldest was a big snatcher - can be totes awkward on play dates!! Have a look at some of these ideas from Janet Lansbury I’d love to hear what you think? I think dealing with snatching involves being good at setting calm boundaries some of the time, and also trusting kids to work out these struggles around sharing on their own - sometimes they surprise you. 01.01.2022 Holy smokes this is exactly what I mean when I talk about sitting in the dark with our kids. Not reassuring them, not building them up, not solving it and not saying any sentence that begins with at least... or but It takes serious parenting courage to just stop and be with the hard emotions like sadness or fear. But it builds connection and security and that long term relationship is so much more important than the solving it in this moment short term. This comic says m...ore than words can.
