23.01.2022 More basketball games at Sorrento coming up! We're proud and pleased to announce that Sorrento Community Centre and Southern Peninsula Basketball Association (SPBA) have signed an agreement that will see us working more closely together to increase the usage of our court into the future, particularly on Saturdays. This helps to alleviate the significant court shortage on the Peninsula, and by improvements to the court facilities, extends the benefits that our Centre can provide for our community. Welcome aboard all basketballers!

23.01.2022 In case you missed last night's Town Hall for Nepean Ward Residents, you can see the recording and hear each of the 7 candidates speak about why they chose to run for election for the Mornington Peninsula Shire and answer questions from the audience on matters of local interest. Catch it on Sorrento Community TV..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE0vUDSaNd8

12.01.2022 It's no secret that some people on the Peninsula are doing it tough at present - and we'd like to invite you to join us in supporting Second Bite, a national scheme aimed at ending waste and hunger. Sorrento Community Centre is now a drop off point. Even though we are closed for activities, our foyer is open for you to drop by and donate some dry goods to supplement the fresh food - and we'll pass along to those in need (and don't forget to keep within your 5km limit!). W...hat's needed? Cereal, Long Life Milk, pasta, rice, flour (plain and SR), tea bags, tins of tomatoes, tuna, fruit, baked beans. We hope you agree that we are a stronger community when everyone is included and there’s never been a better time than now for us all to come together, connect with others, and help to do our bit to make our community even better. We know how generous our community is ...... we look forward to your involvement. Thank you!
