24.01.2022 Hey everyone, if you haven't noticed already there's this virus that's going around and it has quite a few people worried sick, like literally sick from worry. (Yes bad pun, but very relevant) Now if you've been reading through some of my posts you would've come to realise that I've actually been quite the opposite of worried, in fact I have absolutely no fear of this virus what so ever. Why is it that I'm not concerned? That's an excellent question. It's not because I don't... think the virus doesn't exist, because I believe it does, the family of corona viruses have been around for a very long time. No, the reason I'm not concerned is because I have an absolutely rock solid immune system. Ok, I hear you ask, how can you be certain that it's rock solid? Another excellent question. I know it's rock solid because during my time working for house call doctor, I would be exposed to influenza A and B at least 3 times a week, I'm talking direct contact with people coughing and sneezing, so sick they can't get out of bed, full blown influenza. So how do I know my immune system is healthy, because I've been affected by influenza even with heavy exposure exactly ZERO times. I say affected because there is 100% chance I was infected with my dealing in these cases but my immune system did exactly what it's designed to do and knocked it out before it had a chance to take hold and knock me out. 16.01.2022 Being fit and active allows us to pursue the things we love, sometimes we love that activity so much though that we allow ourselves to get a little run down, we can push ourselves that little bit too much and before we know it we start to feel a cold or flu coming on, especially at this time of the year.
