24.01.2022 My dear clients, my hands will be benched for a while While the PM's latest announcement about services to close due to COVID-19 is unclear for remedial massage therapists such as myself, I've been preparing for the past week to shut my doors and will do so anyway. I wish everyone good health ... Enjoy the increased time with your loved ones Use the extra time to learn something new And take some time to switch off from media and just breathe Stay safe and see you all soon x

18.01.2022 Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) We would like to reassure you that Geraldton Amateur Basketball Association and the Geraldton Buccaneers are closely liaising w...ith all relevant authorities in relation to the coronavirus. The care and health of all our members including players, officials and spectators is our main priority. At this stage, all games are expected to go ahead this weekend. We do ask you not to attend the stadium if: - You are showing any symptoms of coronavirus (cough, sore throat, fever) and have returned from overseas within the past 14 days, - You have been in close contact with someone who is confirmed to have the virus or is awaiting test results, or - You are awaiting test results. Please continue to follow good hygiene practises - Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use your inner elbow. - Wash your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser. - Stay home if you’re unwell. We'll keep you updated to changes as the situation is evolving.

14.01.2022 Back pain facts that everyone should know about

13.01.2022 I've been avoiding posting about Coronavirus as I didn't want to add another hand washing infograph to the hundreds already circulating. I want to believe that the majority of businesses and people are doing their best to maintain a high standard of hygiene. And I really hope that people will do the right thing and reschedule appointments if they feel unwell or if they have recently returned from overseas/interstate. But what I would like to touch on is the effect this virus... is having on our individual and collective health and wellbeing. We are being bombarded daily with news and updates about Coronavirus from mainstream media, social media, our workplace, friends, family, and even the shelf-filler in aisle 7... making it very difficult to avoid. And all of this constant information, fact or fiction, is inadvertently creating more stress, anxiety and fear, which can weaken the immune system and negatively affect our overall health...making us more susceptible to illness! So I guess I just want this post to be a reminder; to not let the fear of this virus make us sick before the virus itself does. Let's instead be optimistic and hopeful. I believe that mindset is everything. #staypostive Oh and please, before stockpiling, spare a thought for those in our community living paycheck to paycheck. They should be able to shop and find food. Peace and health Maria x
