24.01.2022 Humanity in action - now let this NOT be just a passing moment but rather a start to providing ongoing affordable accommodation for all. Also let's not focus on how the nice rooms look - but rather a belief that safe and clean accommodation is a basic right for All Australians. Let's use this time as a chance to "share the wealth" and get those large businesses not paying any or very little tax to PAY TAX so that Australian can afford to provide affordable accommodation for all now and in the future. Congrats to all involved with this marvellous initiative https://www.dailymail.co.uk//Homeless-moved-streets-five-s

22.01.2022 Cherie Miller you are amazing, your family delightful and broader Moranbah community members are always welcoming, inspiring and wonderful to meet with. This is a wonderful video compiled by Cherie with all stars being local community members who actively supported and contributed to Moranbah's International Womens Day Gala Dinner. It was once again a privilege for me to visit the Moranbah community and partake in the wonderful spirit that Cherie so often creates the space for it to shine. Commendations and huge thanks to all involved -it's events like this that do so much to prevent suicide.

05.01.2022 The experiences resulting from Covid 19 provide insight into how to improve and expand health care. This article provides excellent guidance on ways to best enable integrated health care practices to improve the quality of care, with a strong focus on ensuring communities are actively engaged in shaping services to ensure local needs are met. 04.01.2022 Now is the time for integrated and multi faceted workplace and community mental health strategies. Faced with the reality of nearly 600,000 Australians losing jobs in April, an unemployment rate of 6.2 per cent, and more than six million others are on wage subsidies it is no surprise that mental health problems will be on rise. Lets be proactive and plan for the inevitable and ensure that strategies are much more than IR initiatives. #LivesMatter #Inthistogether #livelihoodsmatter
