25.01.2022 Meg had another fantastic ride today, Meg is always looking to please and excel. Always putting in 110% - she's very smooth to ride. Today Meg worked flat work, working on flexion, fast & slow movement and half haults. Meg is out of the arena this Saturday, getting the opportunity to do some cattle work.... 17.01.2022 Meg has been with us to be bought back into work for her owner. Meg has tackled all sorts of things in the last 3-4 weeks with us. We did poles, flat work, streamers, obstacles, Tyres, long rein work, whips, bareback, water & ditches. Meg gave everything a go, tackling all obstacles possible.... Meg is going home in the upcoming weeks. #ConnleyBreakers #MissMeg

14.01.2022 Ken Connley 30/03/1946 - 10/06/2020 During the week, Connley Breakers lost one of their own. Christopher's father - Ken Connley.... Ken was one of many who influenced and taught Christopher his talented ways with horses, and passed on his knowledge of farming and the ways of the land. Ken was a grandfather to eight grandchildren, and a father to four children who he loved dearly. Ken was fondly known as the 'Mountain Man' riding stuntsman in many films and movies, like The Man From Snowy River and Red Hill. He was wild at heart and the life of the party. We will miss his cheeky grin, his stories and poems, his knowledge and his love for his family and friends. Chris & Amber's son Xavier (9 weeks old) was extremly lucky to spend alot of time with his Poppy Ken in a short amount of time. Xavier will proudly carry on the Connley name and we will proudly carry on his legacy! We will miss him dearly. Rest Easy Ken. Love, Christopher, Amber & Xavier See more

13.01.2022 Connley Breakers Clan had a fantastic weekend at King Of The Ranges - Murrurundi. Plenty of miles there and back but worth every second on the road. Bridget rode Bobby in the Junior section as her Main horse Cooper did a minor injury last week. Bobby is owned by John & Mel Douglas and was Bred by Chris's Uncle Ron Connley.... Bridget had only ridden this horse 3 times prior to the event, went out and gave it her all coming home with 5th overall! Chris rode Dandilla Kayellen (Goldy) in the open section against tough competition, with Goldy giving it her all they come home with 11th overall. Considering Chris has not had time to train due to bushfires etc, he is extremly happy with how Goldy performed in light work. Now time to get ready for The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival start of April! Well done to all competitors over the weekend #connleybreakers

05.01.2022 Connley Breakers have been a bit silent lately, between the COVID19, personal reasons and our little bundle of joy arriving - our minds have been elsewhere! As seen below in the photo, we have welcomed Xavier Dean Connley to our Family & Connley Breakers! We have 2 horses on the property getting broken in as we speak, can't wait to update you all with their progress. The Benambra Buck Runners are in the mist of making a short film, to support the fight to stop the cull of the brumbies in the High Country and to also Honor the one and only Ken Connley, Christopher's Father. Ken taught Christopher everything he knows about the bush and horses. It's quit often said that if you were lost in the Bush... you'd want Ken Connley to get you out!
