07.01.2022 Well my last post sent every serious pool customer into an absolute spin,they couldn’t bare the thought of being in lockdown over the summer without a Conquest pool in there backyard and the phone hasn’t stopped. You see the pool business and the good old COVID-19 virus have a lot in common, once you’ve been infected with the Conquest bug there’s no cure and no vaccine. The symptoms start off slow, an early morning swim followed by some bacon and egg rolls on the BBQ then som...e swimming lessons for the kids and for smoko back to the BBQ for some beautiful snags in bread. Now it’s time for some serious bombing in the pool followed by some chops on the BBQ. Now the bug is getting a grip and you don’t even realise it, the next step is fatal you find yourself drawn to the beer fridge and once you’ve knocked the top off your first can it’s all over there’s no hope for you. All day the neighbours have smelt the BBQ and heard the relentless laughter and bombing and now their showing symptoms their immune system is weak,come dinner time they’ve jumped the fence meat tray and esky in tow their gone they have got the bug bad, you can’t stop this bug it thrives on sunshine and stinking hot days.Now it’s spreading through the whole neighbourhood Conquest job boards popping up street by street neighbour by neighbour it’s not a pandemic it’s an epidemic. If you want the Conquest bug bad you need to call me now summer is coming and it’s going to be a ripper. The joys of installing a pool in the winter Mother Nature always likes to let us no who’s boss, but nothing stops us from mud to concrete in a week . 06.01.2022 Now here’s something you don’t see every day, a plunge pool sitting on a new house slab and the reason ? this back yard it so tight it’s ridiculous and the family cat will struggle to swing a mouse in this back yard. If your yard is a tight as this is and your in the planning stage well now is the time to plan it properly,the footings need to be engineered so the pool can be as close as 400 mm off the brickwork, power, gas and water also need to be planned. Torrens plunge poo...l 4 x 2.8 x1.3 flat floor and a huge bench seat that runs the full 4 mtrs and it fits perfectly into this back yard. Now you can just leave it as a plunge pool but you can go crazy as well, so let’s add on some water features or how about a huge water fall there is nothing better than hearing the sound of running water or maybe some spa jets and a blower and just to top it off a monster of a gas heater, this heater it will suck the gas out of a Weber BBQ a block away and it will whip the snags clean off the next doors neighbours hot plate in a heart beat it’s a gas fired beast. In the middle of winter this monster heater has no trouble cooking your plunge pool up to 37 degrees and there’s nothing better when the water temp is at 37 and outside temp is a snappy 2 or 3, the steams rising and the stars are shining are you sitting under the best star constellation on the planet the Southern cross, it couldn’t get any better than that, but ohhhh yes it does knocking back a couple of cold cans ok maybe a few cold cans alright a lot of cold cans now it’s perfect!! Spoiler alert!!! Spoiler alert, our next plunge pool is going to smack you in the face 2 mtr walk up bar 2 mtr cascading waterfall into a 12 mtr Maradona pool now that’s gotta wet your appetite it’s going to be brilliant. Now a 2 mtr walk up bar it’s never been done before so I’m thinking me and the boys will have to do some Research and development and slide a few boxes over the top just to make sure it’s perfect good old R & D I love it somebody’s gotta do it. 04.01.2022 Well done Albury Wodonga we have survived the craziest year ever. Social distancing,masks and not been able to see your family and your mates and the pubs were shut now that hurts. So here at Conquest pools we are problem solvers and we move with the times and even the crazy times as well, so we have created the ultimate the New Eden pool. It has a ripper of a bench seat that runs the full 14 mtrs down one side, you now what that means you can practice social distancing and o...n a 14 mtr pool - that’s 9 of ya on the bench seat, it’s perfect. Now the best thing about been 1.5 mtrs apart is all of your mates are in arms reach of each other so if old mate down there at no 9 needs another can well pass em down fellas it’s perfect, no it’s not it’s brilliant, now for the clincher it comes with a beer drinking table in the pool ! The Eden range is extensive and comes in six sizes all the way down to eight metres and a ripper of a splash deck only 500 mm deep perfect for mums and grandparents to lounge around in with the little ones . There is no job to hard for us we have all our own gear, tip trucks ,excavators and bobcats. Is your job on the side of a cliff not a problem, need a site cut not a problem, rock work, block work, fencing and paving, and total landscaping we do it all and we do it well! Another Conquest

03.01.2022 What a ripper of a spring day and a beautiful site. Now I know all you guys are thinking of summer 2020 but we are already thinking and planning for 2021 - 22 and taking bookings fast. The biggest problem with the pool industry is people can’t wait, we are heavily booked for a reason think about it, so don’t settle for second best or even worse. I’ll give you a few examples so let’s say you wanna buy a Lexus car you go down and see old Deno at the dealership and there it is t...he Lexus you’ve dreamed about, but Deno says sorry old mate that was the last of them their alll gone you’ll have to wait,so what are you going to do you wait ! Or how about that dream holiday to Hawaii and the time of the year you have picked is VOLCANO SEASON and the travel agent says why don’t you wait a few months and the weather will be perfect,you don’t rush out and buy a tin foil hat and a pair of kitchen mitts just to pick up a pint of beer no unfortunately you have to wait, so are you starting to get the picture how about this your offered a holiday, 14 days accommodation free air fares all meals at the Rydges hotel in Melbourne on level 13 with all the other germs,14 days in one room or wait a few months and have 14 days on the Sunshine Coast free flights and accommodation with a family gold pass to Wally World free rides for 14 days and just to top it off a free pint of beer on the hour every hour. So what are you going to do? The impatient ones will go to the Rydges and the smart ones will wait and go to Wally World. You see the pool is the back yard for a long time not a short time and it will probably be the family’s second biggest decision ever so don’t risk it ! Unfortunately sometimes you have to wait if you want perfection if you want the biggest and best pool equipment on the planet if you want a Conquest pool in your backyard you have to book in early or unfortunately you’ll have to wait. 01.01.2022 What a crazy crazy crazy year, for those customers who have ordered your Conquest pool welll done you choose wisely,and for those who are still mucking around well let me bring you down to earth,just imagine being in LOCK DOWN over the summer without a Conquest pool in your backyard now that should have you scrambling for the phone and you’ll need more than a face mask to hide from the little family if you don’t call me now ! Well what are you waiting for a vaccine don’t be r...idiculous. Conquest Pools is classed as an essential service of course it is,nothing stops us, you can’t get any more essential than a pool in your backyard when it’s 30 + degrees it’s as essential as a cold box of beer in the fridge it’s perfect. So it’s the middle of winter and amongst this craziness we are flat out and yes installing a pool this time of the year can be difficult and sometimes we even have to bring in the heavy artillery just to get the pool in. This Maradona pool range is a top seller classic side entry and beautiful lines. Now I know some people would think you have to be mad to installing a pool this time of the year but first the hot day these customers will be sitting back poolside knocking the top of a couple of coldies and watching the grass grow.
