24.01.2022 Meet Tom and Joscelin McMillan they took over an egg farming business in the Bega Valley in September last year. On New Year's Eve fires swept through their lea...sed farms in Bemboka and Quaama. The fire destroyed equipment, fencing infrastructure and took the lives of some of their hens, but thankfully most were saved. ABC South East, Daniel Doody spoke with the couple, who are slowly getting back on their feet while supporting local businesses in the region.

We can't wait to run our first exposu...re trip to India early next year. Her Story is about coming on a journey with us to see, learn & hear how young women are trafficked from one place to another. This is not a volunteer trip, this an experience where we believe that Her Story will impact Your Story!! Visit www.offspringproject.org/herstory/ to see more about this amazing trip & also how to get your registration pack. Would love you to be a part of it!! See more

12.01.2022 @danielle_fisher_art drew this incredibly beautiful image of a koala, named "High Hopes," selling 200 limited edition prints to raise money for Wildlife Victoria, after the devastation caused by the recent bush fires. We have 4 of these limited edition prints on their way in the next couple of weeks. They are A4 and mounted. Keep your eyes peeled as I have a feeling they won't last long #australianbushfires #fundraising #limitededition #print #koala #art

01.01.2022 Mateship [Mt-ship] Noun, Australian A code of conduct among Australians that embodies friendship, equality, solidarity and loyalty, often forged in adversity.... When one of my best mates and her young family were directly affected by the fires, of course I wanted to help. Jos has set up a fabulous fundraiser, that is not only helping her family get back on their feet, but also helping other local families and businesses who have been directly impacted tooth the fires too. Only 4 months after purchasing Bega Valley Eggs, Tom & Joscelin McMillan were devastated on New Year's Eve as 2 seperate fires burned the 2 farms they leased for their free ranging, rotational grazing hens. Tom bravely stayed to fight the fires, and fortunately, most of their beautiful hens were saved, and the grading room and equipment in Quaama miraculously spared, but being without power and access to water they were unable to continue to grade and process their eggs. This event along with the loss of the busy summer season has resulted in substantial income loss for the business and family. The generous fundraiser they have set up gives half of your donation to help this essential Bega Valley producer build new grading rooms at their farm in Bemboka. The other half goes towards gifting eggs to one of their 35 local stockists to sell, or other groups that have also been financially impacted by the bush fires that still burn. Visit begavalleyeggs.com.au to donate to this fundraiser that helps so many businesses and organisations in a practical and direct action.
