08.01.2022 An interesting article published on SBS's page. I think it's super important to mindfully listen to both sides of the Western medicine Vs wellness debate, also keeping in mind the wellness industry is different to the alternative therapy industry. Unfortunately, there is a fine line between them as wellness has become a consumer industry. Another reason I love craniosacral therapy, it aids us in becomimg sensitive to our own system, allowing us to listen to the cues of what is needed and not needed by our bodies, rather than what is dictated as a one fits all approach, often pushed by the wellness industry. Craniosacral can be used in conjuntion with other modalities including Western medicine and as a CS practioner, I never advise my clients to disregard any medical advice. Enjoy the read!
