23.01.2022 In this moment I was truly happy, lighter and open ~ This year I have been overwhelmed with anxiety and the different forms it manifests for me, so I took some time off to give myself some space, to come back to myself, take the pressure off and fill up on the things that give me joy. And it was so reassuring to reconnect to that light being that is within This year has been a tricky one for a lot of people... uncertainty, fear, anxiety, stress and change but is there an area of your life where you can take the pressure off, give yourself a break and reconnect to that light being that is within you too...

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again but self care is just so so important for us to be able to show up and be the best version of ourselves, to be present, to be productive and thrive, so what I want to know is, do you have daily or weekly rituals that are just for you, or are you someone that is constantly putting others before yourself and never quite take the time to recharge, do y...ou want to incorporate more self care practices into your daily life? 18.01.2022 Bliss balls ~ does anyone have a suggestion for a better name?! These are such a great grab and go snack and you can add any flavour twist you want. These are my go to flavours, cacao rose and vanilla. Usually I just chuck a whole bunch of dates in a food processor and then split it to create a few different flavours Cacao rose ~ dates, hazelnuts, coconut oil, cinnamon, maple syrup, cacao powder, rose petals, rose water, cacao nibs (goji berries are also a delicious addition...) Vanilla ~ dates, vanilla vegan protein, maca powder, cinnamon, sesame seeds, coconut oil Sometimes I might also add some tahini or nut butter to help bind them a bit more, depending on how I feel. So sorry that I don’t have amounts, I basically just use intuition and add things in as I go based on personal taste. 17.01.2022 Homemade macadamia butter ~ @rainforestfoods macadamias lightly roasted, and then blended in a high speed food processor until it’s the consistency you want (this literally took an minute). It’s bloody delicious... but how long will this last?!
14.01.2022 I love muesli on my smoothie bowls but too often they’re full of shitty ingredients or in a whole heap of plastic packaging so I decided to make my own and guess what I *tried* to create a recipe so that I could share it with you guys. Because look, we know I’m not great with the recipe thing because when I’m in the kitchen I’m trusting my taste and intuition.. so please note that this is a rough guide and you may have to change it up based on your tastes and preferences... but here you go, a GF muesli recipe. 05.01.2022 How many times today have you criticised yourself, spoken negatively about some part of your body or your actions, compared yourself to another person or told yourself you weren’t good enough... How many times today did you tell yourself I’m amazing, I am really proud of myself for xyz, I love this about myself... I would say the majority of people criticised themselves more than they praised themselves and we all need to learn how to build up and strengthen those self love muscles, so I am super excited for this wellness webinar coming up next month in the @health_hub_ If every cell in your body is like yes! 02.01.2022 Have you ever thought about where your money is being invested? This isn’t something that I’d ever really considered until I found the @1millionwomen book last year. I’d previously just let my employer organise a superfund for me and I picked a bank based on who my family is with, but as I learnt more and my values changed and I became more passionate about the environment I realised that I could no longer be with a super fund who was investing my money into things like foss...il fuels, guns and weapons, tobacco, animal export etc. Like @natalieisaacs1mw says in her book it’s counterproductive if we care deeply for humanity, love our earth, try hard to cut waste and pollution in our daily lives, then let banks, superfunds and other financial institutions invest in environmentally destructive industries... Last year I decided to join @future_super , an ethical super fund who invests in renewable energy, healthcare, sustainable products and social wellbeing (plus more) and also only support companies that support gender equality, how cool is that! There are few options for ethical super funds out there, so do your research and find ones that align with your values and let’s invest in the future of our planet! See more
