21.01.2022 Where there is faith there is hope! Was incredibly happy to wake up to the sound of rain this morning. Even better was the fact it continued for the next several hours up until lunchtime, easing conditions for those in KI as well as areas in NSW and Victoria. Have never been more happy to spend a day getting rained on than I was today I have been praying along with many other Australians and people from all over the world for this to happen and it was amazing to see th...ose prayers come to fruition, even if it was only a small amount compared to what we need. 07.01.2022 ~Introducing Freya~ Our newest edition Freya has been with us for two weeks now and is settling in well. We have a long way to go with her rehab but she is starting to move better already and will hopefully soon be able to integrate with the rest of the herd. ... She seems to have largely been left alone, needs her teeth done, her feet are in an awful state plus she had laminitis. We estimate her to be around 20 years old and hope to get a better approximate after having her teeth done. She was quite timid and stand-offish when she arrived and we are working on getting her more comfortable with us and enjoying scratches and brushes. She is already quite happy to have Brandy around who is doing a brilliant job keeping an eye on her. We decided to re-name her Freya which means ‘noble lady’ and is of course also the Norse goddess of love and fertility (not that we need any of the fertility bit ) Hoping for many years of love together

Young Merlin had his very first outing on the roads yesterday and he had so much fun exploring and expressing his natural curiosity. 02.01.2022 January is normally one of our busiest months, often seeing us run multiple fully booked clinics. This year we decided not to start back up until February due to the fires happening all over Australia, particularly those from Cudlee Creek which affected so many people locally. We instead decided to focus on what and how we could help those impacted by fires. Some of you may know that Benson is in the ADF and as such he has been out on the fire ground pretty well every day since the start of January assisting and delivering water to those in need. We felt this has been a time of coming together, helping each other and picking each other back up after so much loss and heartbreak. Holding space for those that need it most
