17.01.2022 I am reading a lot about the overwhelming reality of life. People feeling sad. Why are we struggling with the new, very real uncertainty that is life? If this is YOU. I hear you and acknowledge you. I have been walking this path of late. What a great reminder of how much life can change from one moment to the next. Crazy things happening for no apparent reason!!! The timing not perfect!... The reality of life is that we will always have moments of falling in the trap of being overwhelmed, our responsibilities heavy and hopes tested. You are human, and you have a meaning-making unconscious mind that will take over and take you down the rabbit hole of past fears and memories. Past experiences. This doesn't have to be a forever situation! You can thank the unconscious preconditioned mind and say, I HAVE THIS, I can do this’ ..It's not the past. I have a new opportunity to do it differently. What is a certainty is that life will happen around you? Everyone has vulnerabilities. No one is exempt. It's how fast you recognise the situation and how willing you are to act that makes life doable. What is needed is a toolkit for dealing with these moments? It's about building a new awareness so it kicks in faster? Your resilienceis stronger. Less time spent in the rabbit hole. Asking why! You know consciously that when you get quiet, sit in the situation, the path unfolds before you. What is the message I need to get or comprehend? What is the lesson? Dust yourself off and walk with intention. Set new intentions. Water them often and let them grow. Get happy...You will find you are where you are meant to be right now.. namaste...

15.01.2022 Step 1. Sleep Do you get enough sleep? How do you feel when you wake up?

14.01.2022 Finding a way out of the past has been coming up a lot lately. What can you do to move past old stuff that has a hold on you? Because the old stuff doesn't serve you anymore, even if in the past it seemed so important. Even life or death important! Come on, you know those thoughts of unresolved things that keep coming up and intertwining in your world. I was doing some coaching and while talking, my coach said, write RIP on a bit of paper now look at this and tell me i...f the stuff you are talking about is worth dying over? Is worth giving over your power for. Wow, it was powerful. While looking at this very real abbreviation, I stopped and really thought about it. Is this thought stopping me from living in the now? Am I letting this problem drain me of all my energy? The stress of the past has far reaching implications. Not just EQ but biological and physical. This made me go on a journey of discovery. I have found many techniques that help but the most effective for me was journaling. Why? It helps you move out unwanted thoughts and allows for new thinking. 10.01.2022 Perception is projection. What we focus on we get. If you hear your self-talk going over the same old story. Stop!! Listen! Breathe! . What is the message you are giving yourself? Is it positive or negative! Does it move you towards your desired life? Or stop you because you are talking yourself out of something! Are your thoughts creating stress or worry ... Our reticular activation system focuses on what we think. Try it out. Have you ever thought about buying a new car?? You start researching, and you get it clear in your head. I want a new shiny red sports car !!! You start about your day, and everywhere you go, you see that every car. Why? Because you are forcing on it. This work in all areas of your life! You might ask yourself, why do I consistently hit my thumb with a hammer ? Because you are forcing on your thumb and not on the spot that needs the impact of the stick. Our thoughts are powerful and can influence even the smallest area of our life. Set your intentions on what you want. Focus on the spot you wish to impact!! Give it a go and watch it grow . Plant the seed (thought)and add water (desire ) and consciously ripple out the life of your dreams . Can you think of one area in your life where this is happening? 09.01.2022 Self-Care Strategies - Choose Balance and Harmony. In our fast-paced busy lives, we often wait for something to happen before we look after our health. However, our body gives us little warnings when it needs attention. This could show up as a headache, a pain in your shoulder or back or as tummy pain/upset. Do you often end your day with a bloated, heavy feeling? Where do you hold your stress? If you close your eyes and think about the pain. Where can you feel it in your ...body? This might take a few attempts. Keep going. Self-care means you take steps every day to have wellness, happiness and a bright outlook on your life. Addressing your issues will help change your physical state and help ward off nasty things from brewing. Maybe you have trouble sleeping and wake up each day feeling slow and sluggish. You might keep telling yourself you are a terrible sleeper. Hold that thought?? If you keep telling yourself this story and don't look for ways to change the cycle of lousy sleep, chances are you will keep having a lousy sleep. It's the looping patterns and habits we form. There are ways to change this situation, and the benefits are abundant. All areas of your life will begin to improve. Understanding how to read these signs takes daily practice. You might start by asking yourself. "Why don't I sleep well", and acknowledge that it could be much better? Or do you dismiss it with, "This is just me", and I just have to deal with it? If you catch yourself in the moment and it's not positive. How can you think about this situation differently? Take note of all the things you think and say to yourself and write them down.
