21.01.2022 The Grafenberg Spot (aka the G-Spot): real or not real? There's a lot of confusion over whether this mystical sweet spot actually exists within the sexual health researcher community. A recent study by the Journal of Sexual Medicine pretty much confirmed that the jury is still out on this one. So what's the G-spot and why's it so magical?... Supposedly located in the anterior (front) wall of the vagina It's the space where the clitoris, urethra and vagina meet up Stimulation here can cause feelings of intense pleasure like orgasms or squirting for some people Sometimes simulation of this area can do nothing at all or actually feel uncomfortable. Don't worry, this is normal too!

17.01.2022 Emergency Contraception Emergency Contraceptives work by delaying or stopping the ovaries from releasing an egg. No egg means any sperm that may have reached your uterus can't fertilise anything. What types of emergency contraceptives are there?... Emergency pill, aka 'Morning After Pill': Levonelle or ellaOne Both have different time ranges of when they'll be most effective. Consult your pharmacist to find the one that's right for you. You don't need a script for these. Copper Intrauterine Device (IUD) Can be used as emergency contraception up to 7 days after unprotected sex Can be left in for general contraceptive purposes afterwards And no, taking emergency contraceptives too much is NOT bad for your body. They can be an expensive course of action if taken regularly and don’t stop you from getting STIs, so it might be worth a trip to your GP to figure out a more cost effective form of contraception.
