25.01.2022 You have to be very careful with your selection of timber species around pool areas. You don't want to pick a timber that will bleed/leach into the pool. Similar concept to putting a red shirt in with a whites load of washing! We used Spotted Gum, great to work with and is extremely durable. Not only is it a Australian hard wood but has a lot of natural oil's in it to stop it from drying out.

24.01.2022 A small privacy screen is a great way to get some segregation between you and your neighbours. It's amazing how much a 500mm high screen will change an area and make you feel more comfortable in your own home. We used Western Red Cedar. Even though its quite soft, it's still classified as a hard wood. Cedar is very durable and beautiful to work with.

03.01.2022 We just completed an entertaining and pool area in Rose Bay. The clients were really easy and fun to work with. I was given complete creative control of the design and they are really happy with the finished product. What do you think?
