25.01.2022 MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT! Firstly this is not a late April fools joke... this is for real! You know my chequered history with Jeep, so you'll appreciate this is quite a big announcement... and will help so many people!... In April, I heard that cases of domestic violence had peaked during Covid-19, due to victims being trapped at home and the number one item needed were mobile phones, as they are one of the first items to be stolen or smashed during violence. So I got together with some business colleagues and launched a campaign called DV Safe Phone, to get unused mobile phones out of people’s ‘bottom draws’ and into the hands of victims of domestic violence. We successfully ran a pilot here on the Sunshine Coast and received over 300 phones, so we wanted to offer this Nationally, however for it to work we’d need a way to make it easy for people all over Australia to donate their un-used phones. I needed the help from a company that had locations all over Australia which was easy to identify, with plenty of parking AND with so many companies still closed at the moment due to Covid-19, they needed to be OPEN!... Jeep dealerships were the obvious answer... so I called Jeep! From today, you can now drop off your spare working Mobile Phone to ANY Jeep Australia dealership!!! What’s more, Jeep are covering the ongoing costs of getting all the received phones from their Jeep dealerships, over to us on a regular basis! This is a Game-Changer, as it gives us INSTANT NATIONAL PHONE COLLECTION LOCATIONS throughout Australia via their 69 dealerships. This means we can get more phones in, tested and out to victims of domestic violence. So if you, or anyone you know, has a spare working phone at home or work, that you would like to see passed on to a victim of domestic violence, simply charge it up, sign it out of your accounts and drop it off at your local Jeep dealership! #DVsafephone #JeepAustralia #DomesticViolenceAwareness

08.01.2022 Still disappointed that the Holden brand will be no-more soon. What Holdens have you owned and what was your favorite? I’ve owned the Holden Sunbird (don't laugh it was my first car), Holden VC, Holden VL, Holden VS Statesman, Holden VS HSV, Holden VT HSV, Holden VZ HSV (pictured) and Holden VE The VZ HSV was my favorite for sure!

08.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who's tagging me about the recent press about Jeep (FCA) rebuilding their reputation here in Australia. I can attest to how bad things were back in 2010-2014 when I went head-to-head with them about my Jeep issues. Never would I have thought that my Jeep issues would turn into a movement to change the Australian Consumer Law and help consumers get a fair go. Things started to improve at Jeep once they put Steve Zanlunghi into the top job in 2016 when the...y reopened hundreds of unresolved cases for people I sent their way. Kevin Flynn took over the reigns in 2019 and I've seen continuous improvement with the way they deal with their customers, through the authority he has given his team to resolve issues. I met with Steve on behalf of many Jeep customers when I was in Melbourne through 2016-2019 and I also presented to his entire leadership team in December of 2016 (yes I'm surprised I wasn't carried out in a box). I've also met with Kevin a number of times already and have an open dialogue with some of his leadership team where we discuss consumer advocacy. It takes a brave company to come out and admit their mistakes publicly, so good on them for "facing the music". https://premium.goauto.com.au/jeep-starts-mea-culpa-tv-cam/

07.01.2022 Massive News!!!! If the superstars at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service weren’t already doing enough, they’ve established DV Safe Phone collection boxes inside their hospitals across the district, to collect phones on our behalf...and they have already collected 5 phones for us! Thank you for everything you do guys, this is a game changer and we are going to be able to help so many more victims of domestic violence get access to a safe phone with your assistance. #DVsafephone #DomesticViolenceAwareness #HealthCareProfessionalsRock

06.01.2022 Thank you GoAuto.com.au for your coverage of DV Safe Phone and Jeeps involvement to take our campaign national. Thanks to Jeep, anyone in Australia can help by simply finding their old (working) phone, ensuring they've signed out of accounts and dropping it into their local Jeep dealership. Jeep are covering the cost of getting your old phone to us to check, then we get it to a victim of domestic violence, so they have a way to call for help. 05.01.2022 *Please Share* We desperately need your old (working) mobile phones! Did you know that domestic violence has spiked through this Covid-19 pandemic? One of the first items to be broken or taken is the humble mobile phone, but this is often the ONLY way victims can reach out for help!... I've setup DV Safe Phone with some other business owners, to ensure your old phone has been fully erased, tested and distributed to those in desperate need right now. Simply drop your phone into any King IT store on the Sunshine Coast, or post it to us at: Ashton Wood PO Box 1440 Mooloolaba Qld 4557 Thank you to King IT, Fresh PR & Marketing, Domestic Violence Business Solutions and Red Rose Foundation Australia for making this happen!

04.01.2022 If you’ve bought a shitload of toilet paper, hand sanitizers and food supplies from the retail stores here in Australia, for the sole purpose of selling it for profit right now... you’re not an opportunist you’re an arsehole. Good to see #Amazon and #Ebay are shutting down the accounts of people who are profiteering from this. In 6 months time you’ll still have a garage full of useless crap... while many of our elderly went without. #coronavirus #covid19 #RantOver
