23.01.2022 We were bombarded with excited patient calls yesterday asking to book their Myotherapy treatments in after further easing of restrictions on Sunday. Unfortunately the Myotherapy industry has been repeatedly let down and excluded from our allied health colleagues during the pandemic leaving patients without their primary healthcare practitioner for going on 12 weeks. This is roughly 1200 patients in our clinic alone that are left wondering how to best manage their pain and whe...re to turn. This has been so disappointing to learn that because we are a young industry and haven’t yet received the gold star for being included under AHPRA that the DHHS biased towards dividing and unrestricting some parts of healthcare has occurred, because in the real healthcare world this isn’t how Myotherapy is looked upon. We can only hope for more education on how important and effective Myotherapy is to our community and that patients are never left behind again because they choose the healthcare that best works for them. Fingers crossed for our Myotherapists to returns from Nov 1 tribe xx

16.01.2022 Look at this gorgeous and colourful group of wonderful healthcare practitioners! Sadly still only half the team but after a fan whizzle shamozzle bang weirdo of a year it was great to have our one and only team social this year albeit being Christmas This year we kept it local and were spoilt with the most delicious 3 course lunch @thebathsmiddlebrighton surrounded by beautiful scenery and company. All of our team are spoilt with a little goody box handmade locally by @mo...llys.cottage, this sweet business started due to COVID and we couldn’t help but support the cause. This year really brought the best and the worst out of people and I’m so grateful for the people that make up this team. Amongst the hardships there wasn’t a day that went by that someone in this team didn’t reach out to each other or to people in our community. I’m so incredibly proud that as a business we remained open and answering calls everyday throughout lockdown where people could still source help and guidance. We know it’s been a confusing pathway, for us too and at the moment seems like we see daily changes on what healthcare is allowed and not allowed to do. For all routine care you can come visit us for face to face consults for Podiatry, Acupuncture and now KINESIOLOGY. All of these can be booked online or via our reception team. Myotherapy can be access via endorsed care plan patients. ... Clinical Psychology is being advised to remain via Telehealth but we hope to welcome that back into clinic shortly. All of our remaining services are still sadly on restriction and are awaiting for the current updates for a return date. 09.01.2022 What a day! So big news: ALL HEALTHCARE & BEAUTY IS BACK from tomorrow. Yay! Some remains via Telehealth but majority of our services are back for face to face consults. Our Beauty waitlist has almost been fully contacted, we only have Saturday appointments left this week. Bookings for the services that you can access from Marysze at the moment are all available online for bookings. ... Myotherapy patients, this list is pretty long and we are working through this as fast as possible. 03.01.2022 All the feels after another nail biting wait for changes today. Let’s start with the good news Our Podiatry and Acupuncture services can now function with no restrictions in place woo!! So routine care can commence again as of tomorrow and no more pesky screening questions surrounding your pain are required. ... Our Myotherapy and Reflexology services are sitting in limbo land once again awaiting further clarification on where DHHS would like to categorise us. We hope to get info quick smart but can continue to assist those on endorsed medical care plans in the interim. Worse case scenario we will be back in 2 weeks. Sadly after being reclassified with hairdressers originally, Beauty therapy and our Kinesiologists have been delayed again on their return. But one silver lining is that we have definite dates of 1st Nov and can begin booking from this date with confidence Thank you to everyone for their patience, we get this information at the same time you do (sadly no little sneak previews) so we work hard to ensure we have all the info before we make any decisions. We totally get people feel frustrated at this point but sadly we can’t go rouge and make the rules to suit.
