22.01.2022 Throwback Thursday! This design was for a client who is an avid amateur astronomer. The fit out included a special "Dome room" to house the telescope, an office area, kitchenette and future bathroom (currently used as a store room). This build required 2 x 20ft containers, and 1 x 10ft, included a covered veranda area, and was fitted out with carpet after instillation. This build was truly "Out of this world"! 17.01.2022 A large percentage of our clients, just require a container for general storage. For this, our standard used containers are prefect. Offering most of the benefits of a new build (secure, weather and vermin proof etc), with a budget conscious price. While not everyone cares about the appearance of the containers, a significant number of clients opt to add a full repaint (inside and out) of their used container. 15.01.2022 TIP 1 OF 7: Beware of backyard operations My first tip is, beware of backyard operations. There are so many shipping container brokers today, and they seem to offer fantastic prices. But because they're not an actual shipping container yard, they may struggle to control the quality of the container that's being sent to you. And also, if there happens to be an issue, backing up their product can be a little bit more difficult.

08.01.2022 Containers First - Behind the Scenes - Roller Door Installation We've got two shipping containers that are having roller doors installed, one's having one installed on the side. The other one is having it installed on the opposite end to the container doors. When people often ask me how hard is it to open these big containers and it does take a little bit of effort because you've got double-locking bars and very heavy steel doors. After all, these doors are designed to protect goods that are being shipped on rocky ships and bumpy trains. Now by adding a roller door to China, you make it as easy as putting up your garage door as home if you need to access your container!
