22.01.2022 Update from Netball SA City night has been cancelled for tomorrow night - Tuesday 17th November. There will be a further update later today following and update from Dept of Rec and sport. We would expect further cancellations to come so please stay tuned. #uptheblues

16.01.2022 Fantastic news for Netball SA today being awarded $12 million funding for stadium upgrades. What welcome news following the year we have had and wonderful recognition of Netball in SA and women’s sport.

13.01.2022 Presentation Functions 2020 This year our presentation function was a bit different with 3 separate events due to number restrictions, it was a great day last Sunday thank you to all those that attended. We celebrated our 25 year partnership with SA Power Networks, we thank them for their ongoing commitment. 07.01.2022 Congratulations to Julie Nykiel OAM past Contax State League and Super League player 1989-1993, who was awarded Sport SA Hall of Fame status today. Julie was a basketball player and represented Australia in the Seoul Olympics 1988 before being recruited by Contax in 1989 playing in our State League and Super League teams. A dual State League Premiership player with Contax 1990 & 1991. ... Julie is the 4th Contax player to be awarded in the SA Sport Hall of Fame following Kathryn Harby, Michelle den Decker & Natalie von Bertouch. 07.01.2022 This week is the revised National NAIDOC Week and it is an opportunity for us to celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme is Always Was, Always Will Be, recognising the First Nations people that have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Contax Netball Club acknowledges the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains region. 02.01.2022 Today we remember those that have lost their lives or suffered through armed conflict in defence of our nation. Remembrance Day has special significance, at 11am on the 11th Month the guns fell silent on the Western Front, to signal the end of World War One. So many Australians and allied troops paying the ultimate price to secure our freedom and future. We give thanks to them and those that continue to serve our country.... At 11.00am today, we remind our members, families and community to join us by observing a minute’s silence. #lestweforget

01.01.2022 Important update Members please follow our updates as we are expecting a temporary suspension of games for City Night Summer competition for a short period based on the Premiers update at 3.15pm today. Please note - there is no confirmation on the suspension of games as yet for tomorrow. We will wait for the update from Netball SA so please follow our page for updates. Safety will always be the number 1 priority- if there is a suspension of matches we are optimistic this wil...l be a short time. We remind our members the importance of not becoming complacent and to keep up the positive safe hygiene practices.
