02.01.2022 DARK CHOCOLATE POMEGRANATE BARK | If you know me you know this is my Christmas special to serve up to friends and family this time of year! I renamed it ‘Christmas bark’! We can’t get enough of juicy pomegranate seeds this season. Pomegranates are full of so many health benefits. You can also get creative and add your favourite nuts or seeds. We have done pistachios, almonds and macadamia's! The simplicity of these flavours married together is like a party in your... mouth as the pomegranate literally bursts in your mouth! *drooling as I type* The easiest recipe we have posted yet! Tell us what you think! Ingredients: 2 x 180g Lindt dessert dark cooking chocolate 51% cocoa 14 cup coconut oil 14 cup maple syrup 3 cups pomegranate seeds Method: Stir the broken chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat until the mixture is melted and combined. Add the maple syrup and mix half the pomegranates in. Then spread an even layer of the melted chocolate mix on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Press the remaining pomegranate seeds firmly into the chocolate layer. Place in the freezer and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Break apart and enjoy! You’re welcome! hiddenpeonies.com
