02.01.2022 BUILDING... Building a house is a very exciting time. You get to design the house you want and one that no one has ever lived in before. You get to choose colours, tiles, style, everything. This can be lots of fun however sometimes overwhelming. As brokers, we know there are a lot of little things that can get missed when people think about their new home and all the ‘good’ parts. To understand more about finance for building head to our website - www.controlfinance.com.au

02.01.2022 We are faced with an interesting business dilemma whilst in the midst of a crisis. 1. We want to help as many people as we can who are in a state of financial panic/stress. 2. We can help people restructure/refinance and plan their finances better (meanwhile conducting profitable and mutually beneficial business for you & us).... There really has been no BETTER time to refinance or rethink your finances. Some banks are offering cash incentives to switch as well as incredibly low-interest rates. We are fortunate that we can help people save a lot of money and provide our service at NO additional cost to you. The lender pays us, not you. I'll say that again as people often think there's a fee for using a mortgage broker ... the LENDER (banks/credit unions/non-bank lenders) pay US not YOU. If you're experiencing difficulty, reach out. If you have questions, reach out. If you want to know anything, however simple about home loans/car loans or commercial loans; reach out. Here's an interesting article & opinion for the economic outlook ... https://www.businessinsider.com.au/interest-rates-are-expec

02.01.2022 It's great that the banks (most) will allow up to defer up to (6) months of home loan repayments. However, the interest is typically then added to the loan and payment required after this period. The payment required is usually a slight increase to your previous monthly commitment. However each month it is deferred, interest is accrued ON TOP of the interest that is being deferred. Credit where credit is due, the CBA has offered to refund this interest to its customers. I'...m hoping the other will follow suit! Before you make any decision about home loan deferred payments, send us a message. I want to make sure you are well informed to make the best financial decision.

02.01.2022 The government's new FHLDS (first home loan deposit scheme) is one of the better initiatives we've seen in recent years! Contact us if you'd like to know more information! https://www.businessinsider.com.au/first-home-loan-depost-s

01.01.2022 Financial Hardship!!! This has been one of the most mentioned phrases among brokers as a result of the global pandemic. It is a difficult time for pretty much the entire Australian and global population. We want to help as many people as we can cut through the jargon of stimulus incentives, mortgage repayment deferrals and anything the else finance. We are still trying to get our heads around it all but if there is something that doesn't make sense or you want to know the ins... and outs of what a repayment deferral is please ask us. You NEED to be comfortable making decisions that will impact your financial situation. We want to help where we can and to do our part in helping the wider community as best we can in this time of hardship. PLEASE REACH OUT. If friends or family seem confused please pass our details on. Please stay safe as best you can and together we will get through this terrible time much stronger. See more

01.01.2022 Why were stock analysts created? In order to make weather forecasters look good. Last week the chance of a rate cut was less than when Coco Gaugh beat Serena Williams at Wimbledown. Today...... Rate cut to a record low of 0.5%. Hopefully, we see lenders follow suit and pass on the full cut....
