25.01.2022 Afternoon all, I've just had a chat to the boss, and he recons I've come through the operation to clear my wind pipe good. I'll be coming back to Ellalong Farm today. Around 3 weeks of recovery with just gentle walks on the lead. If all goes to plan, ill then spend another 4 weeks in the paddock. I’ll then commence pre-training at Ellalong Farm before coming back to Newcastle for a prep that should go into the Summer months and firmer tracks. Owners extensive update is throu...gh now. 24.01.2022 Happy Bathurst and Pamfers weekend. I’ve started with some light pre-training this week. No news is good news so it looks like I’ve come through my wind op well. I’ll let you know when I’m back at Newcastle under full trackwork. CTW. x
22.01.2022 Happy Monday morning. I've attached the video of the race from Thursday, where I ran 2nd at Gosford. I've been nominated to backup at Newcastle this Saturday in a BM64 over 2300m. With no rain forecasted, the track should be dry which may make a difference to the result. CTW x ........OR NOT........

21.01.2022 Happy Friday. Tomorrow is the horse’s birthday and I’ll be 4! I’ve been nom’d for Wednesday 5th at Canterbury in a BM72 over 1900m. It’ll be my first metro start, and it certainly looks stronger than what I’ve been up against. The boss said I’ve been a good boy so I deserve to see if the metro scene is my go. The track is currently in the heavy range but with fine weather forecasted, it may improve significantly by race day. CTW x

20.01.2022 Afternoon lovelies, I’ve accepted for Thursday’s race at Gosford, BM70 over 1900m with Mr Brenton Avdulla to ride me. Only a field of 8 currently and the tracks a little wet. The horse I have to beat Lady Highly, is possibly going around tomorrow, so the market may change quite considerably by race morning. Everything being equal, I think I’ll be about 3rd fav, based on exposed form. CTW x Update 6pm Today - $3.90 2nd fav.
20.01.2022 Afternoon. A solid 3rd yesterday. As I flopped out of the gates again, I didn’t quite get the forward spot I was hoping for. With a soft pace up front, it became a sit and sprint which doesn’t suit. I would have had to break the sound barrier to pass the front two in the straight. The stewards vision is below. CTW x
18.01.2022 Happy Friday fans. Just chillin with one of my favs, Bec Godfrey, this morning. I’ve had a little freshen up, with about 3 weeks between runs, the next race probably being Saturday week. I’ll send through updates when acceptances come through. CTW. X
15.01.2022 Morning. I’m going around tomorrow in Race 2 over 1900m. My first metro start, be it mid-week. I’ve drawn 3 of 8 and Miss Louise steers me again. The rail is out 3m and the track should be improving into the slow range. Lots of ticks but it’s a strong race. I’m currently $5 with six horses at $9 or less. If Louise gives another ride like last time, I’ll be very competitive. CTW x

10.01.2022 05AUG20 Canterbury 1900m BM72 (6th) Afternoon. Not the result I was after. Louise got me midfield off a really slow pace. When coming to the 600m mark, I was a bit flat footed and didn’t roll into the race as I usually do. When pulling up, Louise noticed I made a couple of heavy deep breaths indicating I may need a tongue tie. Hopefully I pull up well. I’ll keep you all informed. CTW x Edit - in the Stewards Report, Kris was questioned about the performance. He suggested I might got for a break now and that he was disappointed. Stewards will follow up with my post race recovery.
10.01.2022 Afternoon all. Just had a quick chat to the boss. Kris is looking to run me on Saturday week at Newcastle, BM64 over 1850m (July 4). Hopefully we get a dryish track and I should be competitive. CTW x
10.01.2022 Happy weekend all. I’m being moved from a small paddock to a nice big one now. It’s been 4 weeks since my wind operation and I’m recovering well with no complications. I’m not sure exactly how long I’ll be resting for but I guess I’ll be back in pre-training around late October. CTW. x

04.01.2022 Afternoon all. Looks like I’ve picked up a bit of a flu so the staff are going to back off my workload for a little bit. I’m still out at Ellalong Farm so I’ll let you know when I arrive back at the Newcastle stables. CTW x
04.01.2022 Morning. I’ve been resting at Ellalong Farm for a couple weeks now. The boss had me scoped twice after my disappointing last run when Louise Day said she heard me make a funny sound late in the race. The scope has found a lazy side in my airways. This restricts the amount of oxygen that I get, especially late in the race. This may explain my lack of run on at Canterbury. As this will most likely get worse over time, the boss has decided that I’ll go for an operation next wee...k to secure a flap of tissue that will open up my airways. With a successful operation, I’m hopeful to see an improvement which will pay dividends as I get older. I’ll keep you all informed. CTW x
03.01.2022 Afternoon. Here's the vision from today. How good it feels to be first again. Wonderful ride from Louise Day. Ona quick backup, she made me jump out and get a forward posie, then we took off at around 600m to get a clear run, and they couldn't catch me. I'm the pretty one in the orange. CTWx

01.01.2022 Afternoon. The boss scratched me from tomorrow’s race. I’m going around on Tuesday at Newcastle. BM64 over 1600m. Miss Louise will steer me, claiming two kgs, and I’ve drawn a good gate. Market is now out - I’m the early fav at $4.60. CTW x UPDATE- 6.30am Raceday. $3.50 fav after two scratchings, barrier 5 of 11. UPDATE - 11.00am. $2.80. Two more scratchings, barrier 5 of 9. The lovely Bec will be strapping me. Wish me luck. CTW x
