25.01.2022 This park has been a long time coming! Sydney Park Skatepark in Alexandria is nearing completion. Here’s some renders of the Final Concept we started designing back in 2016. Thanks again to City of Sydney, Group GSA, and all the community members who contributed to the design. Also, Sydney Skateboard Association as always for their help and contribution.

25.01.2022 The draft concept design for the Byron Bay Skatepark is now open for feedback! In 2018 a high level concept was developed to help Council gain funding for the project. Funding has now been approved and we want your feedback and thoughts on the initial concept design to help us develop the space to make sure we're designing something that fits the Byron Bay community. 21.01.2022 We are honoured to have received a National AILA Award in the Urban Design Category for the South Eveleigh Youth Space! The idea of a skatepark is always evolving to grow and compliment skate trends and the spaces they occupy, and it's great to see a small community project such as this being recognised by Australian Institute of Landscape Architects - AILA. Thank you to everyone that played a part in helping this youth space become a reality.

09.01.2022 Glebe Skate Plaza or ‘The Crescent’ has been a long long time in the making. There has been a lot of hard work put in lobbying for action from Sydney Skateboard Association and many Sydney skaters over the years. We have been working on the planning, consultation, design and construction since 2015! We are getting close to the finish line now with opening of the whole park expected early 2021. The fresh concrete is still drying / curing and tampering only slows the team down. We will post more about the official opening in the coming weeks

04.01.2022 If you want to save the park - this is your chance to have a say. Council is potentially planning to demolish the old concrete skatepark to make way for an extension to the Aquatic centre. The skatepark will be replaced in a new location adjacent to the vert ramp, see attached development plan.
