17.01.2022 The stories behind this shoot! https://youtu.be/ouJU0aAVg1o On the morning of the shoot day with everyone en-route to the wilds of Gresford to meet on location at the wonderfully helpful folks at Hunter Valley Carriages we get a call to say the actor playing Mrs Singleton didn't turn up for pick up. Less said about that the better and literally we never heard from her again. Our 1st AD for the day Robert Rhode made a few calls, his agent put us onto someone that maybe could h...elp and that's how we first came to work with the amazing and joyful Heather Maltman all those years ago who took the day of her other job, learned 2 pages of monologue on the 4 hour drive to the location and smashed the take whilst bouncing around in the back of the horse-cart chasing the last rays of the evening sun to nail the scene. And the rest, as they say, is history! Regulars will have seen Heather as the first Elizabeth Macarthur in Convict Footprints at the Farm and more recently in our Fully Loaded at Newington Armory.
