Roles available: 1. Seeking an experienced Barista (with knowledge to conduct morning profiling, experience in machine/grinder set-up, weighing in, and free-pour latte art). A reliable person with passion for quality! Whilst we’d love to provide a learning opportunity, this particular vacancy really is for someone with experience, who can genuinely handle high volumes in a high pace environment (we’re talking more than a coffee per minute), whilst ensuring quality and consistency is maintained! Firstly, he’ll potentially quit tomorrow as a result of this post (Adam’s the ‘quiet achiever’ type who really doesn’t like photos or public recognition), buuuut I can quite honestly say, Convoy would not be what it is today, without this guy! Most of you wouldn’t know the background, but approximately 12 months ago, after 2 years of trade, and exhausting absolutely every option under the sun, I was in an incredibly difficult positio...n, and ultimately left with no option, but to close doors of a business that really hadn’t gone to plan. Adam had been there from the very beginning, and I’ll be forever grateful he trusted me, and stuck by me, when it certainly would’ve been a whoooole lot easier to jump off, what ended up becoming one hell of a roller coaster ride! The rest is all history, but today, we can all thank Adam, for being largely responsible for the incredibly deeeelicious coffee, and ridiculously tasty food, we’ve all come to know and love so much!
