25.01.2022 Its been a challenge, but weve finished it. The North Missingham amenities building at Shaws Bay has been upgraded. A special thanks to subbies and suppliers, Nagels Plumbing, Concept Engingeering (electricians), Condons Hardware and Northern Rivers Asbestos Removal for bringing their A game and making this another successful project.

21.01.2022 After the fire took out the job site, and took numerous tools with it, and with plenty of complaints from the laborers about the new saw stools, I dug the legs out of the ashes and gave the old saw stools a new lease of life. I have to admit, they dont makem like they used to.

18.01.2022 Completed a new amenities building at Ballina. The building components were from Modus Australia and came together for a fantastic outcome for all stakeholders.

18.01.2022 I arrived in lovely Lismore today, to start work on another Modus amenities building.

18.01.2022 Customers Neil and Margaret and I spent the day sanding the hard wood floor in the nearly completed guest villa. It was great to lay the floor old school, using floor cramps and tee nails. After all of the effort we put in, cramping, nailing, punching and sanding, the result, Im sure youll agree, is awesome. Well done Neil and Margaret.

18.01.2022 The new Modus amenities building at Lismore Airport is now completed. A great effort from Nagel Plumbing and Concept Engineering Services who helped produce a fantastic outcome.

17.01.2022 After 250mm of rain, we finally got the frames and trusses done. Roof goes on this week.

17.01.2022 Sorry I havent posted for a while, Ive been a little busy. A mile stone was reached today. All footings, piers, bearers annd joists are done, ready for the floor. It pains me to say it, but I just need the rain to stay away for a little bit. (Darn drought) I guess I should say a little about the house: Its plantation style, which basically means a number of buildings linked together. Credit for the idea goes to Zarko Danilov (architect)... Under roof is 260m2, including 75m2 of deck. The building is fully off grid, no connection to mains power. Going off grid doesnt mean you need to adopt an alturnative life style, you dont need to wear tie dyed clothes and give homage to mother earth. You can live in a normal house,with a tv and lights, heck, you can even buy your veggies. Ill try to post regular updates at each mile stone. Till then, By for now.

14.01.2022 We replaced old tired louvers with flash new windows. Now the owner can enjoy the view from the comfort of his living room.

13.01.2022 This week we had plenty of earth works to do. Yes, we can do more than build. The Komatsu D-21 bulldozer, is the perfect size to get in between the larger trees and clear away all of the lantana, letting you see those parts of your farm that you may never have seen before. Its also perfect for cleaning up along fence lines and farm roads and small dams.

10.01.2022 A bitter sweet day today. The electrical fit off for Frickers Rd Guest villa is completed. But today also marks the day our electrician Greg Brotherson, retires to Queensland. We wish Greg all the best, and thank you Greg for being a delight to work with, and for your exceptional quality of work. I know my customers are truely greatful to have had you working on their projects. And a special thank you to Mrs Brotherson. Thank you for delaying the big move, so Greg could come and play one last time.

10.01.2022 We completed the new life guard watch tower at Lennox Head yesterday afternoon. Its a beautiful part of the country and well worth putting on your list of places to visit.

08.01.2022 A new addition to the CCMS fleet. Im sure I heard my truck groan as I transferred the load over.

08.01.2022 Lismore project is travelling well. Earthworks, inground hydraulics, inground electrical and culverts are completed. Big thanks to #Greenstar #Earthworks, #Nagel #Plumbing and #Concept #Engineering #Services for a huge effort.

07.01.2022 I completed a rather unique fence today. Each pailing had to be different. The timber had to be rough sawn and be splinter free.

06.01.2022 After a week of rain, the slab is done at Lismore Airport. A big thank you to #AWMconcretingservices and #Lismoreconcretepumping . The quality of their work is outstanding.

06.01.2022 We completed the enclosure of a varanda at Nymboida today. The end result is fantastic. A big thank you to the team of subbies and suppliers who made it possible. Concept Engineering for electrical, Freestyle plumbing, Grafton Glass and McPhee Bros painting.

02.01.2022 All hands on deck to beat the rain forcast for Lismore tomorrow. The main structure is now completed with the roof to go on in the morning. Im crossing fingers, toes, eyes, everything hoping to get the roof on before the rain. Big thanks to #GreenstarEarthmoving and #DamianHooker from #CompleteStaff, another huge effort, well done gents.

02.01.2022 Its been a fantastic week at Lennox Head. Scaffolding completed, structural steel completed, floor and roof done and dusted. Huge thanks to Wiggins Scaffold and Universal Cranes. After a slight rest over the weekend, we look forward to its completion at the end of next week.
