25.01.2022 Were back on board with the Public Transport Authority (PTA), after winning a competitive tender process. Please pardon the pun but were very happy to be back on the panel to provide Strategic Marketing and Creative Services to PTA. Its one of Perths most sought after government contracts and there would have been some stiff competition. Weve worked with the team before and created some of our best stuff with them so were looking forward to doing it again. Its a fantastic way to finish a challenging year. Well done us and thank you PTA.

24.01.2022 And heres the link to Rons day 4 at Adfest 2018. http://www.campaignbriefasia.com//ron-samuel-adfest-diary-

24.01.2022 Check out Aleishas story that appeared in the community news. Good work Aleisha!

23.01.2022 Ron is looking very stylish in another one of his delightful ronsombles. What do you think of the potato sack shoes? or

23.01.2022 Were finishing the year on a very positive note with new work for our new clients Ramsay Health Care and Content Living, the residential home builders. Heres the first ad in a campaign for The Hollywood Clinic, part of Ramsay Health, which provides mental health services and support for those times when we need a bit of both. Thank you all for your support this year and enjoy a safe and Happy Christmas with your families and friends. See you in 2018.

22.01.2022 Beautiful morning for Matt to get the drone up for Mauravillo Estate's new campaign.

22.01.2022 As you can see we've started the new year with a new look, and we love it. Aleisha has redesigned our identity to more accurately reflect the way we work and what we do. We've been using the ampersand for a while now to highlight the collaborative nature of our work. Aleisha has simplified things by incorporating our 'cooch grass' into the ampersand and reducing the number of graphic elements, which is a great idea. Creative communication now covers far more than advertising and we also do a lot more than that now. The quotation marks in each 'O' reinforce that point. We hope you like the new us, same but different.

21.01.2022 Check out our fresh new look on our stationery. We love it

21.01.2022 We'll be competing on The Pitch on Gruen tonight. Win or lose we're very proud of the fact that we produced everything in house ourselves. Hope you enjoy it.

21.01.2022 We're very happy to donate our time and expertise to a worthy cause whenever we can. At the end of last year we were approached by the Lishman Health Foundation, who promote awareness of health issues in regional WA. Our job was to develop a communication strategy and create a campaign to highlight the dangers of inherited high cholesterol. We were also asked to help out with their first fund raising dinner in Margaret River. Craig Challen, joint Australian of The Year, was a highlight as he told the emotional story of the Thai cave rescue. We're happy to report that the campaign and the dinner were successful in raising awareness of the cholesterol issue and also the foundation. The dinner raised $28,000 for a very worthy cause.

21.01.2022 Weve just completed the campaign for the opening of Main Roads' first Smart Freeway. We were actually appointed to the project back in 2018. Our contribution began with strategy, where we recommended creating a sub-brand and positioning that can be used on future developments. From there it was driver education communication, web consultation, community consultation, and the final campaign itself, which was of the biggest this year. Our little team wrote, created, and produ...ced over one hundred pieces of content ranging from educational videos and material for downloads, to a fully integrated advertising campaign across mainstream channels, out of home, press, digital, radio, and social media. Initiative did a fantastic job with media strategy and buying. We worked closely with the Strategic Communication Manager and her team at Main Roads to manage internal stakeholder expectations and maximise their in-house resources. This included coaching voice and on-screen talent and working with their video team, who we used to shoot the TV commercials. It was a very cost-effective collaboration.

21.01.2022 Were down at mirrabooka square today shooting the harmony day, Guinness world record attempt for the most nationalities in a drum circle all playing the same rhythm for 5mins. Some fantastic traditional clothing to be seen. Everyone starting to warm up. Sounding great!

18.01.2022 Drink spiking is back in the news this week. Here's something we created a while back to encourage people to look after each other when they're out. Seems to be a good time to dust it off as the message is still very relevant. Feel free to share.

18.01.2022 Were producing video content for the Fiona Wood Foundation. Fiona and her team do a fantastic job working with burns victims and helping them to get their lives back on track. They were instrumental in saving lives after the Bali bombing and are relentless in their research and development of anything that will improve the lives of burns victims, such as spray on skin. Burns can change your life in an instant so give them some cash now at https://www.fionawoodfoundation.com/

18.01.2022 Ron will be wearing his journalist hat again for Campaign Brief at AdFest 2018 in Thailand. The theme for this year is Transform, with an international line up of speakers, from places like Facebook and Proctor & Gamble, who will discuss the continuing evolution of our industry via digital disruption, discovery and moving back to what used to work. Dont expect any early morning posts.

18.01.2022 We have completed our third series of illustrated content for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. The series is designed to help teachers, in regional WA, show their students how to prevent bush fires and keep themselves safe. Nice work Aleisha.

17.01.2022 Matt and Ron were on the job late Sunday night to shoot video and stills content for Main Roads WA. 10pm start and 3am finish. They know a lot more about the technology behind those white lines in the middle of the road now.

16.01.2022 As we continue with the uncertainty, we thought wed share a couple of tips that might help you and your business. 1. Check your automated email content. Most automated marketing systems are based on email. This is a good time to check that your scheduled content is relevant to your clients or customers. This is a not a time for hard sell or fear based marketing tactics as youll run a very high risk of doing long term brand damage to yourself. Saying nothing is better than... saying the wrong thing. 2. Let your clients know how youre doing. How has your business or organisation had to adapt in these volatile conditions? If youre doing something differently, something new or simply doing the same thing, let your customers and prospects know. Just letting someone know that youre still around is a positive sign that you know what youre doing and may be able to help them. 3. Ensure that your content is relevant, considerate and compelling. With mainstream advertising budgets plunging fast it seems that every business is turning to social media to do the heavy lifting. That means youll be competing for attention on a global scale, even though its free. As a brand, your content is you. If its badly put together and incoherent it will reflect on your brand and your business. If youre writing content you need to know what your limits are. It doesnt matter how good you think you are, if your competitor is using a professional copywriter that person will be thinking and writing strategically and competitively. If you cant do the same then let a professional do it for you. 4. Help someone - . After the GFC we experienced serious cash flow problems that endangered our survival. Our suppliers supported us by offering greatly extended payment terms, which saved us. We still use, support and promote those kind and generous businesses. In the current crisis we have donated our time and expertise to LifelineWA to help them develop additional digital communication resources for those in our community who need support to get through this. You can see the site at http://covidcopingkiosk.org It costs nothing to care, so if you can help in some way, why not do it? We hope everyone is staying well and safe. If theres anything we can do to help, please email [email protected] or [email protected] See more

16.01.2022 We were very happy to be asked to produce some web video for the City of Stirlings Department of Parks and Sustainability. As part of a re-population program the City has reintroduced the native Quenda, or Bandicoot, as its also known, to selected bush reserve areas. We were shooting the Quenda Survey at Trigg Bushland Reserve and were lucky enough to see a couple of healthy individuals close up before they were weighed, measured and released. The team and a dedicated bunch... of volunteers do some inspirational work and have been successful in other reserves such as Star Swamp in North Beach. You can help by keeping your cats indoors at night and keeping your dog on a leash if youre walking in a reserve. The reason for this is that although the dogs rarely catch them, when a Quenda is chased the female will sometimes drop her babies as a survival response. They can also suffer a fatal heart attack after the chase due to the fright. So now you know please do the right thing. See more

14.01.2022 We celebrated the end of a great year in fine form at Holey Moley (highly recommend it!). Micky the destroyer Colliss took out the win. Well done Mick, looking super cool on your new ride there

10.01.2022 We won. Thanks for all your support.

10.01.2022 BREAKING COOCH NEWS We seem to be operating in a marketing world where everyone says they can do everything. So weve decided to do less. In fact, were reducing our offering to three key services: writing, strategy and video. These are the things we do best.... Weve already been down the route of adding services and learned that it doesnt automatically result in growth, as youre also increasing the amount of competition plus the added service delivery costs. It just doesnt make good business sense for us. So as we celebrate our 16th year, weve decided to stick to what were good at, and get even better at it by increasing our knowledge in our specialist areas. These are the ones our clients have said create the greatest value for their business or organisation. Our writing covers everything from brochures to blogs, scripts and corporate literature. Our proven experience and track record in strategic development, be it brand, marketing or communication, is at your disposal. We can also make it very easy for you, by executing your strategy producing the creative work, as some of you already know. Video services range from fast turn around social media examples to simple TV commercials. We have a new brand mark and were about to launch a new website. All contact details remain the same.

08.01.2022 On location today for an HR induction video for the City of Joondalup. Five set-ups in four hours, gotta be quick these days, just like Matt.

08.01.2022 Very happy to start the new year with a significant new business win. After a competitive pitch we have been appointed to handle creative communications for Main Roads Smart Freeways public awareness campaign. Kudos to Main Roads for paying a pitch fee to all participants, thats the way it should be.

06.01.2022 Matt was behind the camera today at Royal Perth Hospital for a video were producing to highlight the constant danger of violence that staff face every day. Its hard to imagine why anyone would want to hurt someone who has dedicated their life to help them, and the rest of us but sadly, thats the world we live in now. Theres absolutely no excuse, ever, the violence needs to stop.

05.01.2022 Following a competitive tender we have been selected as Preferred Tenderer for Social, for the Provision of Corporate Communications Design Service for the Public Transport Authority. Bit of a mouthful but were looking forward to creating some good social stuff for PTA.

05.01.2022 Well be competing on The Pitch on Gruen tonight. Win or lose were very proud of the fact that we produced everything in house ourselves. Hope you enjoy it.

02.01.2022 After more than a year since we first presented the campaign it was great to see our work for maternity at Glengarry Private Hospital finally get some air. Its a great example of the collaborative way we work with our clients. Our role was creative strategy, concept and creative direction, which resulted in the We love small position. Then it was over to Ramsays in-house team in Sydney for execution. Their media agency, Carat, looked after digital execution, while the local Ramsay Health team took care of paid social and video.
