18.01.2022 mportant COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update from Coochiemudlo Island Progress Association Coochiemudlo Island Progress Association has been cautiously monitoring the ongoing developments of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The highest priority for the Progress Association is the health and wellbeing of our community including residents and guests of our island. As a result of the escalation of COVID-19 containment advice provided by the Federal Government this afternoon, we have decid...ed to cancel the Easter Markets to limit the possibility of exposure to our community. Its vital that we as a individuals understand the impact we have to the community around us, especially as we have a high percentage of community that fall into the danger category of over 65 or compromised immune system or chronic medical conditions. We encourage all residents, staff and visitors to follow the advice given by authorities and practise good hygiene standards and if you are feeling unwell, stay home. We will continue to monitor this situation in the coming days, weeks and months. Please remember our prescription run is still available to the community. We will continue to work towards our goals including tackling our island challenges as well as work towards another successful Flinders Day. Take care, stay safe and look after each other.
