These Beginner yoga courses are designed for absolute beginners, those new to the Iyengar Yoga style and those with only a little yoga experience. We teach a sequential yoga course starting at the very beginning and build your understanding week-by-week. These courses covers basic standing asana (yoga postures), sitting, forward bends, twists & basic backbends. These courses are designed to build your confidence so that you will then feel comfortable attending any of our classes on the timetable. Our teachers are highly trained and experienced in guiding students through the first steps of yoga. Our course sizes are small ensuring attention is given to each student.

19.01.2022 A demonstration by my teacher Glenn from the 90s. In the 80s-90s it was common practice to demonstrate prior to a weekend workshop. Some of the demonstrations were captured on VHS tapes, the media format of the day back then. My son painstakingly digitized some of them. The clips are rough quality, due to equipment used back then in badly lit environments and the tapes were 30 years old. Take a trip into the past when yoga wasnt yet a commercial product.
