22.01.2022 Easter craft For Easter this year I was going to make a few different shapes made of salt dough ready to be painted at playgroup. Perhaps an idea to keep your kiddies busy for a few hours and to commemorate this unusual situation were all in.

21.01.2022 where do I sign up? Only a few more weeks until Playgroup is back for the start for Term 3, we cant wait to see you all! weve got some excited changes to show you all!

21.01.2022 CHANGES When you come to Playgroup, youll notice that we have limited toys and activities. We have put away the hard to clean toys. There will also be limited tables and chairs for activities. Due to social distancing requirements, prams, scooters and bikes will need to be kept outside in the yard. This will maximise the space inside.... Hand sanitiser is available at the doors and bathroom and it is recommended that you wash you childs and your hands regularly. Cross contamination risks there will be no shared morning tea, magic bag and a few sensory activities. Please bring your own morning tea and picnic rugs. High chairs are still available for younger children. Cleaning We need everyone who attends to help with keeping things clean. Therell be buckets for used toys so that they can be disinfected before the end.

The CPPG committee have everything crossed that we will be able to resume playgroup during term 2 When we get the OK we will update you all!... 03.01.2022 How is everyone feeling? Cabin fever set in yet? Still having socially distant adventures outside? ... I, (Ellie) for one am bored, relaxed, annoyed and anxious all at the same time and its only just started! Bored of the same walls, views, movies and constant cycle of mess and cleaning. Relaxed with having no plans whats so ever for the foreseeable future so no rushing around in the mornings. Annoyed that its not my choice to be stuck at home and lastly, anxious. Im anxious that this is just the beginning and theres no end date in sight. Anxious that Covid-19 is probably already in Hedland but has a been chalked up to teething, a smokers cough or just a little sniffle. We mums usually carry on regardless... Im anxious about the lack of tests available up here so well never know the true extent of it. Anxious for my elderly and frail relatives in Wales and Australia. Keep contact with your circles. FaceTime, message each other. Even if its just memes, inappropriate jokes and debates about whos better- Peppa pig or Bluey (Team Bluey ) If anyone needs a chat during this time, Im always available.
