25.01.2022 Speeches and boat race.....
24.01.2022 It is with the heaviest of hearts and deepest sorry that I write to inform the Central West Rugby family of the passing of our Patron Peter Veenstra. P.V. died ...peacefully this morning with his wonderful wife by his side. Never has a man done more for the game and asked for so little. P.V. was instrumental in creating the strong culture we have in the zone, and built the foundations of what we now take for granted. P.V was, and always will be, Central West Rugby. See more
23.01.2022 Once again the Coolah Roos Committee stepped into action to put on a very low key but fanastic Presentation for the 2020 season. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions the Club were not allowed to hold their normal Presentation evening with our ever faithful Supporters, Sponsors and Team families. Therefore, Bowen Oval hosted the Presentation with only the Team and limited family members. Our Club has seen many new faces this year and three of these new team members took away a...wards on Saturday. It was a great morning full of banter, tall stories and team shenanigans which was then followed by the traditional Silly Saturday festivities. Congratulations to the deserving recipients of this year's awards: Best and Fairest - Taz Kuhn Players Player - Taz Kuhn Highest Point Scorer - Hugh Wesley Most Improved - Carlin (Jerry) Rima Club Person of the Year - Adam Burgess Presidents Pick - Jacob Medd Nigel Pettet Memorial Trophy - Tim Trainor Thank you to Coaches and presentation of jumpers to Pete Weis, Tom Dunlop and Fil Ratatagia Presentation of Engraved Glassware for Club Milestones - Robbie Baker - 237 games which breaks Ian Wicks previous record of 235 Adam Burgess - 200 games Sam Wesley - 50 games Thankyou and presentation to the Ladies for their contribution- Katie Burgess, Kate Weis, Anna Dunlop, Felicity Bowen, Erin Courtney and Bec Cox. And for the 2020 season........That's a wrap GTRs
23.01.2022 Come along and support this great Club. All positions will be declared vacant, especially the treasurer position.
23.01.2022 He is the king of strapping tape and on Saturday he is now the record holder for the most games played for the Coolah Roos. Congratulations to YOUNG Robbie Baker who played his 236th game for the club and now surpasses Ian Wicks' previous record. You very nearly got over the line for try yesterday, however it sadly was not meant to be. A great achievement to a player who is all things Coolah Rugby.

14.01.2022 Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Congratulations to Blayney for reaching the Grand Final...commiserations to our Mighty Roos for once again just missing out. Defeated but not disgraced. We look forward to maintaining the rage next year. For the final last hurrah....GTRs !!
13.01.2022 Blayney scores 27-12
12.01.2022 A clubs culture and longevity is created by the people who contribute to it. Those people are the players, the supporters, the sponsors and those quiet achievers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. A special mention to the Coaches and Refs who give their time every week in a sometimes thankless job. This year has been very challenging and country Rugby has bought a little bit of normality to a very trying year. We have had some milestones for our players this year. To ... mention just a few being, Sam Wesley's 50th game, Adam Burgess' 200th game, and of course Robbie Baker's 236th game which breaks Ian Wicks' longstanding club game record of 235. Yesterday was the end of the regular season and sadly the Roos couldn't maintain their winning streak so next weekend will be a trip to Blayney for the finals. They say that good things come to those that wait............ GTRs A sneak peek of the Molong game See more
