19.01.2022 A Record Breaking Swim We are excited to announce that the mixed Central Schools 4x50m Freestyle Relay Team consisting of Peter, Bethany, Noah and Abigail broke the current record held by Peter, Summer, Bethany and Ben from last year. This years team smashed the record by 2 seconds. Well done team - keep up the training for the State Carnival in Sydney late April. Also, a big congratulations to Noah for qualifying for State in the 100m Freestyle. A mighty effort.

18.01.2022 3/4 Opal Talent The clever kids of 3/4 Opal have been working extremely hard to make improvements to their writing. We just had to share a snippet of their achievement with our school community. Congratulations Opal, keep reaching for the stars!

12.01.2022 SHARE THE DIGNITY We are very proud to be one of the schools to be gifted a Dignity Vending Machine at CCS. The machine will dispense a FREE pack with 6 tampons and 2 pads in it. It is there to help those in need. Each Dignity Vending Machine costs $25,000 to build, install and maintain for four years. Our machine is sponsored by Woolworths.

05.01.2022 It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas .....

02.01.2022 The Community and Family Studies class met with Jess Inch from the Council to interview her for the Independent Research Project they are conducting on the needs of young people in rural and remote areas. The students did a fantastic job collecting the primary data and Jess' information was invaluable to help them with their research. The students also discussed with Jess the potential for a youth advisory group.

01.01.2022 CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY K-6 Clean up Australia Day will be held this Friday 5th March. Donations of gloves and plastic bags would be greatly appreciated, these can be given to the primary classroom teachers.
