19.01.2022 The Coolamon Rovers Football and Netball Club would like to welcome Jeremy Sykes, partner Tiana and son Archie to the club for the 2021 season! Jeremy (26) has played close to 200 senior games between stints at both Lockhart and most recently his junior club Turvey Park where he was Co-coach in 2019 and 2020 (Pre Covid) with our most recently appointed Co-Coach Mark Curl Carroll. A super talented midfielder/forward who has represented both the RFL and Hume leagues, Jeremy ...is looking forward to stepping back after coaching for the last couple of years and to really concentrate on playing and helping us build towards something special in 2021. His skillset, toughness and leadership will be welcomed to an already strong midfield group and we are sure he will quickly become a crowd favourite with his red hair and 3qtr sleeve playing jumper! Welcome to the club mate and good luck for the season ahead!
18.01.2022 IMPORTANT information for anyone attending Wagga District Juniors Football and Netball this weekend (or senior games at other venues) and each weekend thereafter. It's very important that all attendees can be traced in case a COVID outbreak is reported. This includes players, spectators and officials. At least one member of each family should complete this process. Only one submission is required per day and household. Steps to Follow:... 1. Point your smart phone camera at the QR Code below and wait for your camera to recognise the image. 2. Tap the blue circle that pops up next to where it states 'Open "forms.office.com" in Safari', this will take you to a website. 3. Once the link has loaded, fill out the fields and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the form. Check your 'junk folder' for your email confirmation (from AFL Riverina) if it doesn't land in your inbox. 4. Remember - you can complete this process any time prior to arriving at the ground. 5. This is a very simple process and shouldn’t cause too many issues. Please note the personal data will not be used for anything other then contact tracing, which we hope that we don’t need.

Zeik’s number 4 will go back in to the major draws, at the end of the 12 weeks. This week has seen more 100 club tickets snapped up, only a handful remain, don’t miss out people there is still great cash prizes to be won . 16.01.2022 Happy Saturday Everyone A quick update on a project we have been working on over the last few months. The club was successful in obtaining a grant from the Australian Govt Benefiting Community Football Grounds, which has enabled us to have a new scoreboard established at Kindra Park. 2021 will bring an enhanced experience for our spectators in viewing the score and also for our timekeepers, who will now have the best seat in the house on game days. These projects don’t... complete themselves, so we have been guided by our Grounds and Facilities manager Stuart Seymour who as always has brought together a wonderful group of tradesman and volunteers which has seen the old scoreboard removed, a new timekeepers shed constructed, and the new screen installed. Final touches will be completed over the next few weeks, we will post some more photos once everything is up and running. We must make special mention of the following businesses and individuals who have been pivotal in the completion of this project BJ Martin, Jamie Hard (Coolamon Plumbing),Andy Stuart, Precision Signs and Riverina Cranes, there are other numerous names that have also turned up and donated hours of their time to assist and for this we are extremely grateful #coolamonhoppers #crfnc See more

07.01.2022 BIG NEWS - Hoppers announce new coaching structure for 2021 The CRFNC has locked in its senior football coaching structure for the 2021 season and is absolutely rapt to announce the re-signing of Jake Barrett and the appointment of Mark ‘Curl’ Carroll as First Grade Co-Coaches next year. Jamie Maddox has stepped down from his co-coaching role due to a big upscale in personal commitments outside footy. But Ox won’t be lost to the Club, continuing his playing days on the march... to 250 first grade games and also taking on a Development role with the Hoppers, ensuring his massive guidance for the younger players will continue on next year. Meanwhile, CRFNC Board Director for Senior Football, Mitch Robinson, will continue to coach the Reserve Grade Magoos in 2021. Curl’s football pedigree runs deep. 300+ games for Ganmain, including assistant coaching roles in 1991-92; four premierships; nine years coaching in the GWS Giants Academy; and most recently, two years coaching Turvey Park U17s to consecutive RFL premierships, and a season or so coaching Turvey Park First Grade, finishing up mid-season due to family concerns surrounding the current COVID situation. For Curl, the opportunity to lead the Hoppers around alongside Jake was too good to pass up. He’s super excited about what the Hoppers list and opportunity represents, and he’s looking forward to building on the long held healthy respect he has for the Club as a non-playing coach. And he already knows what he’s in for in working with Jake, with the pair enjoying a great working relationship in their careers away from footy over the past 18 months or more, and excited to continue this partnership in Club land. For Jake, while players of his calibre always attract interest from rival Clubs, remaining with the Hoppers was first and foremost in his mind and it’s fantastic that we can re-group for 2021 with Jake leading our on field efforts. Welcome to the Hoppers to Curl, his partner Francine, the boys Dodge, Jayden and Alex and his daughter Georgina. It’s fantastic to have you on board! While we don’t exactly know what the future holds for life under the COVID cloud, we can be certain that we are definitely well placed to tackle a new season and take our Club forward.

04.01.2022 As most in our community would be aware, many of the Coolamon Junior Football Netball Club have been devastated by the tragic loss of Beau Hilton- a young man taken far too soon. We pass on our condolences to the Hilton Family in what will be an unimaginably difficult time ahead. Our junior players have been deeply affected by the loss of a peer in our town, so today in his honour, the U/ 15's team conducted a minute of silence before their game. It is always hard to comprehend why these things happen to someone so young and full of life, so please all take the time to tell those close to you how special they are and how much they mean to you. The Coolamon Rovers Football & Netball Club pass on our deepest sympathies to the Hilton Family and all those affected at this time.
