25.01.2022 Player Profiles 2021 Kick-starting the player profiles is Tom "Tugga" Claydon. ... Tom is Coolaroo through & through, he has played all his junior footy at the Roos and transitioned into Senior footy with ease. After a few years floating around the ground as a Utility, Tom cemented his spot in the backline in 2020 and became a pivotal player & leader down back. He is one of the most committed team mates you could have. Tom's commitment and leadership payed off in pre season 2020 when he was named the Senior Captain by his peers. With a great intercept mark and strength through tackles, we look forward to what he can bring in 2021 & beyond.

23.01.2022 Player Profiles 2021 Next up is Carl "Sanchez" Stevenson. Born in Victoria, Carl started his junior Footy journey playing for Frankston East & Langwarrin Roos before making the move to Queensland. He finished his juniors playing for North Shore Jets & Hinterland Blues.... Senior Footy has seen Carl have stints at Highfields, South Burnett and now at the Mighty Roos. A great clubman who manages to commit his time between a busy job, being a new father, training and game day. We've seen Carl in the forward line, In the Ruck, on the wing but in 2020 Carl went permanently into the back line, having one of his best years to date. His hard to beat one on one in the air and on the ground. He takes a strong contested mark, uses the ball by foot with precision and hates to be beaten. 2021 is shaping up to be a massive year for Carl and no doubt every opposition forward will not like to see his name on the team sheet. #goodol #est1970 #wenotme
