23.01.2022 BNB FRESH Together with BnB Fresh weve organised a Farmers Market in our centre court area ( in front of the old IGA store ) - every Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting this Thursday 16th July! Come and visit!! You wont be disappointed with the quality of the fresh fruit, veg and meat on offer! Jaurdi from our butcher and Liberty Chickens is organising the chicken and meat packs - and her produce is always first class !

This will be your space, where you can come with your family to experience the wonder of growing your own plants and produce. 18.01.2022 Heres a little glimpse into the new interior of Cooby Shops. We want to create a light, bright and inviting place to visit, with plenty of greenery and nice places to sit and chat. If you could add one thing to the interior, what would it be?

18.01.2022 Weve been dying to tell you about our plans for a mens shed, and now we can! Were planning on converting the old, standalone TAB into a community space, where men of all ages can come to take part in activities. Maybe theyll create artworks that can be displayed in the shopping centre, or perhaps theyll work in the community gardens - the options are endless. What would you like to see happening in the mens shed?

09.01.2022 It was great to meet so many residents at the Coolbellup Community Association meeting last night, and to tell you about our plans. As we told you on Monday, a big part of the Cooby Shops reno is about making the centre feel more welcoming. Were planning on getting street artists to make their mark on blank walls, adding a bit of colour and life! What do you think?

06.01.2022 Its great to see all the new faces over here - thank you for supporting your Cooby Shops. In answer to your questions, this isnt a huge, multi-million-dollar development. The current, individual shop owners - many of whom have been at Cooby Shops for decades - have banded together to "fix up" the centre. Although funds are limited, imagination, creativity and community spirit are not. Were aiming to create a welcoming, safe and modern new shopping centre - you can get an ...idea from the artists impression pictured here. Thats why we need your ideas, and your input, and your creativity. Well be giving you info on the renovations over the coming weeks, and well be at the Coolbellup Community Association meeting in March to answer any questions in person. Look forward to getting to know you all!

If youre interested in contributing to the wall art at the new Cooby Shops, can we ask that you leave your details with lovely Martin at the newsagents? Then well arrange a meeting and hear all your ideas in person. Itll be great to have the community contribute to this redevelopment - we cant wait. On that subject, we welcome all your thoughts and ideas on the reno. Please speak up... - constructive criticism is more than welcome. What arent welcome, however, are derogatory or unnecessary comments. They arent welcome and they wont be tolerated, and you might find yourself banned from the page. 03.01.2022 Sadly, our fruit and veg operators from BnB Fresh have decided they don't want to continue to operate in our centre - saying that they haven't received enough support from local consumers!! We tried!! We let them have the space rent free, organised advertising and street banners for them but effective immediately they've 'pulled the plug'!!! We'll try to find another operator and we'll try to have it organised by the weekend of the Fathers Day Community markets - to be held in the centre on Saturday 5th September. Watch this space! And please accept our apologies!
