24.01.2022 This week the children at Cool Frogs helped in playing a part in National Reconciliation Week. The theme this year is In this together. Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians and how we come together as one. The children have beeen busy looking at books , singing songs, doing art work and creating play spaces that help capture the history and culture of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

22.01.2022 With the cooler weather starting to arrive Rosa has been warming our bellies with sweet potato and bacon soup and pumpkin risotto.

19.01.2022 In recognition and thanking the men and women who helped serve for our country. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn; At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.

17.01.2022 We have had so much fun so far this week, lots of water play, crafts and a visit from Santa.

16.01.2022 On today’s menu we enjoyed for lunch pumpkin risotto followed by for afternoon tea banana, pear and cinnamon bread with a fresh fruit platter.

15.01.2022 Happy Educators Day to all the amazing Cool Frogs team. Educators have enjoyed a yummy lunch catered by our wonderful cooks Rosa and Annie. Thank you to our wonderful families for supporting our educators.

12.01.2022 Cooking up a storm in Rosa’s kitchen. For lunch today was pumpkin soup with noodles and garlic bread. Afternoon tea is delicious shortbread biscuits.

11.01.2022 Busy morning in the beautiful sunshine. The nursery have been busy doing lots about sensory. Today they discovered coloured cold ice blocks to paint with. Toddlers were painting boxes to make some cars and also making paper aeroplanes that the children have noticed flying over Cool Frogs. We have also been helping taking care of our play spaces and help sweep the paths. Lots of climbing and creativity in the sandpit from the Pre Kinder and Kinder rooms.

11.01.2022 Wishing all our Cool Frog families a Happy and safe Easter. The children have participated in a variety of activities throughout the week. To finish the week off we had an Easter egg hunt , we hope that Rhonda didn’t eat all our eggs.

11.01.2022 A day in the warm winter sun. The children enjoyed playing with our new monster trucks and created some fantastic jumps and tracks. The mud kitchen was also popular and some great cooking. Some children enjoyed a quiet book and a card game.

10.01.2022 The kinder children have enjoyed the sunshine, using water to create sea creature habitats. We used water to paint the fence, and we went fishing in our pretend lake( tractor tyer). And as always the sand pit is popular.

05.01.2022 We had a special birthday surprise visit today to help celebrate Alexandria and Tamara’s birthday. Hip hip hooray. Thank you very much to the Wodonga Police for spreading some wonderful cheer.

04.01.2022 Earth Day has been celebrated every April 22nd since 1970. The main aim of Earth Day is to raise awareness on the negative impact our actions as mankind have on our environment and earth as a whole. To help celebrate Earth day the kinder kids were very busy. We talked about recycling, what we can and can’t reuse and being sustainable in the garden. All of these small changes and contributions help reduce the impact on our earth.
