23.01.2022 Could not hold back with my pen after driving some areas of Queensland after "drought breaking" recent rains, & witnessing the contrast between rested unmanaged... pastures on roadside, & severely degraded unrested pasture in properties. Most properties are well advanced in creating the next drought, before this one is done!! See more

16.01.2022 I think I can easily say that all our Cooloola Farms on the trail have had loads of happily received rain over the last 2 weeks. This most essential commodity has set the scene for new growth everywhere . Uber happy farmers.

09.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts that we say a heartbreaking farewell to our much loved Maureen who was tragically killed in a farming accident last week. Maureen and her husband Vince operated Broadmeadows Alpaca Farm in Kin Kin and was a much valued part of our Cooloola Farm Trail adventures and our team. Maureen was incredibly passionate about her Alpacas, knowing them all by name and having a phenomenal recollection of their individual genealogy. And not to forget her love of ...her Maremma Dogs. Maureen was generous in every way and touched the heart of every person she met. She will be so dearly missed by her Vince, family, friends and everyone in the local and farming community. x
