09.01.2022 Consultation with families and educators on disability in ECEC As part of the 2020 Review of the Disability Standards for Education, the Australian Government is looking at how well the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) is known, understood and applied in early childhood education and care. We want to hear about the experiences of children with disability and their parents in accessing and participating in early childhood education and care, as well as the experience of educators. Please direct parents and educators to the dedicated early childhood education and care section of the Review’s Consultation Hub where they will find an early childhood education and care discussion paper and a questionnaire. They can also register to participate in a webinar at 4.30 pm 6 pm (AEST) on Thursday 27 August 2020.
