20.01.2022 1 more case of COVID in Queensland. All Queensland clients can obtain a pass to cross to border communities. You will need another new pass from Saturday 1am. You must carry ID. NSW border residents can cross into Queensland on the new pass declaration. Swimming as usual.

19.01.2022 Friday and Saturday classes. Traffic is horrendous again. Gridlocked around streets of Tweed Heads. Queenslanders I would recommend parking in Dixon St Coolangatta , crossing by foot into Thomson Street and down Frances St to Pool It is only a 100 metre walk, but will save you up to 2 hours or more at the Border Control. Carry passes and photo ID. New South Wales customers. Get off Wharf St as soon as you can, go down Recreation or Boyd St into Florence St and then into Beryl St to swim centre. 17.01.2022 If the Australian swimming organisations are serious about drowning prevention, they should look closer at incorporating this into their swimming programmes. Instead of a blanket ban on schools who do teach it, they could reach out and ask how it is taught. Happy to assist.
