24.01.2022 The 15th August was VP Day- Victory in the Pacific, the day that Japan surrendered to the Allies 75 years ago. 20.01.2022 LEGACY WEEK August 30 September 05 Commencing in 1942, Legacy Week, or Badge Week as it is commonly known, is the annual national appeal to raise awaren...ess and funds for the families of Australian Defence Force men and women who have lost their lives or have health issues. Members of the community are encouraged to support Sunshine Coast Legacy Group buy purchasing a badge throughout this week. Volunteers will be selling Legacy badges and merchandise across 18 Sunshine Coast locations. A great crowd enjoyed a terrific afternoon with beautiful spring weather and a fantastic band. We'll do it again next Sunday 23rd, and after that every first Sunday of the month.
