23.01.2022 Behind the scenes...it’s our fourth performance of Diplomatic Relations and we can’t wait to welcome our lovely audience tonight!

21.01.2022 My baby...leaving the nest tonight

20.01.2022 As a child Kate Peardon loved singing and, with her sisters, put on shows, including The Sound of Music, where, dressed as nuns with empty ice-cream containers on their heads, they amused their parents. Despite this solid start, it was only in her 20s that Kate became involved in theatre. Over the years, Kate has performed in Cats, Little Shop of Horrors, Anything Goes, Pirates of Penzance and No No Nanette. Equally talented as a musician, she was Concertmaster (violin) for... the pit orchestra of The King and I, and guest conductor for the Queensland Medical Choir. Kate also studied in the Musical Theatre residency programme at NIDA. Then, In 2018 Kate experienced a minor stroke, which left her unable to sing for two years. With a great rehabilitation team and lots of hard work, Kate is excited to finally be back on stage, with a new voice. She says: Being part of this production of Xanadu is a real joy and a big goal I wasn’t sure I would ever reach. In every rehearsal I can’t wipe the smile off my face. A Sunshine Coast local, you’ll also see her at the beach at weekends where she's a Surf Life Saver. See more

20.01.2022 Counting down the days now!

19.01.2022 Lovely audience tonight!

16.01.2022 Sabre Barr’s musical talent was discovered by accident at nine years old whilst shopping for a birthday present. Sabre and her sister were discovered by a vocal coach who encouraged them to develop their natural skill. Not long after, both girls joined the Sunshine Coast Youth Choir which Sabre is still a member of today. Since that day Sabre has been involved with musical productions including Cinderella (Fairy Godmother), Moana (Sina), The Lion King (director's assistant), Sleeping Beauty (Princess Aurora), Xanadu with BYTEs Alle Stelle (Euterpe, Andrew Sisters and ensemble), Honk (Grace), Freaky Friday (ensemble)and many more.

14.01.2022 We are almost sold out for Diplomatic Relations! Some tickets left for the Sunday matinee at 2pm on Nov 15, and two or three each for Sat 14th and Sat 21st.

14.01.2022 Playing the Muse Calliope, Femke van der Kallen arrived in Australia from Holland just nine years ago and soon established herself within the performing arts community both as an actor and a teacher of musical theatre. She runs a dance and drama programme within local disability services and you may have spotted her bringing her own brand of fun and sparkle to theme parks and kids' parties. Meanwhile, on stage along the Sunshine Coast, Femke played Maria in The Sound of Music, and previously performed in CTP's productions of Spamalot and The Adams Family. Over the years she has played Nancy in Oliver! and she lists A Chorus Line, Funny Girl and Side by Side by Sondheim among her recent performances.

13.01.2022 Stop press! Two tickets have become available for tomorrow’s performance. Let us know here if you would like them.

11.01.2022 It’s our first night for Diplomatic Relations and we’re sold out! It’s been a Coronarollercoaster for theatre folk this year but now we’re all set to welcome you to the Civic Centre at Coolum this weekend and next for a little light relief!

07.01.2022 Hoping that Tuesday’s new Covid guidelines for indoor events means we can sell further tickets for next weekend’s performances on Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and the Sunday 23rd matinee! Watch this space - we would so love to see more of your friendly faces!

06.01.2022 Still a small number of tickets available for our 2pm Sunday matinee this week and next!

05.01.2022 Lisa Waters moved to Australia over 7 years ago from Liverpool in the UK to travel and work with animals. When she’s not working as a veterinary nurse she is performing in musical theatre shows! She first started performing in Liverpool at the age of 14 and went on to performing arts college and performed in the Everyman and Neptune theatres. Lisa has also performed in Spamalot, Oliver and in 2019, enjoyed playing the role of Elsa in the Sound of Music.

03.01.2022 It's the 80's, he thinks you're a goddess (you are) and love is definitely in the air. But...your sisters are jealous and they're out to cause chaos. Will Kira and Sonny find a happy ending? Book for Xanadu tickets today to see how the story ends (actually very happily, but it's the journey...) https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?embed&eid=706139
