We were only three weeks into the reopen. It was astonishing to find that many members were demanding financial updates days after the reopen. The committee had so much work to do in operations. We only met monthly to address committee matters. Our last meeting was 11.8.20. Where we approve...Continue reading

In that request the members have listed business that has implied a vote of no confidence in the current Committee. It also indicates an intention to take over control and administration of the centre. In response the current Committee have decided to stand down and hand the control of the centre over to the insurgents. Our two staff m...embers Sonia (Centre Coordinator) and Peter (Maintenance Officer) have also resigned from their positions. The Committee is saddened to leave under such circumstances. When Laura Gerber MP and I visited - back in early March - we w...ere treated to a performance by the Ukulele Group (pictured). President Lu Boutell was also pleased to inform me the club is now open to people of all ages and has put Federal Government funding to good use - paying for plumbing repairs!

11.01.2022 In these difficult times. Rather than asking what the club can do for you. One should ask what they can do for the club. Last week we had a most generous donation by a concerned member. Howard offered $1000 to help contribute to saving the club. To our surprise when the donation came through 10 mins later it was $2020. Thankyou Howard your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you are in a position to make a donation to the club contact our coordinator and lets get the ball rolling.
