25.01.2022 So looking forward to this weekend and the fly-in on Saturday to celebrate and commemorate 75 years since the end of WWII. Just a note to remind people that thi...s is a private event. This is not a formal Air Show, it is put on by the owner of Coomalie Farm, Richard Luxton and is by invitation only. Those who have joined in on the weekend before, are welcome to come back again, of course. It is always a great time to remember the brave men and women who fought for our freedom. See more



23.01.2022 Today we gathered to commemorate the passing of Squadron Leader James (Jim) Gillespie, pilot of a Mosquito that crashed on takeoff on 3rd August 1945, 10 days before the end of WWII. Jim died on 5th August, 75 years ago today. RIP.
