24.01.2022 Congratulations to George Kimber for winning first prize in the P&C Fathers Day raffle. Second prize was won by Christopher Clarke and third prize was won by Maddison Rosewarne. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. Thank you also to Philip and Casey Clarke for donating the load of wood for first prize. Over $600 was raised for the P&C

23.01.2022 A big thank you to the Cooma Hotel for supporting our Year 6 Graduation by donating their Graduation cake. A BIG thank you also to Sam Mauri for making and decorating the cake. It looked amazing!!

21.01.2022 Great news!! CPS Enrichment program for students in years 4 to 6 has commenced. This program aims to extend students learning in Literacy and STEM. Gail Eastaway, Editor of The Monaro Post is helping the students set up a School Newspaper as well as mentoring students with their writing

15.01.2022 Last week we celebrated our amazing SAS Staff, the backbone of our school. We appreciate everything these dedicated and supportive members of staff do to keep our school running and enable us to ensure the students are at the centre of all we do. Thanks to all of our wonderful SAS Staff, the best there is! (Note: some photos missing as they werent in attendance for our special SAS Appreciation Assembly. We will shower them with appreciation and cards upon their return to school this week)

14.01.2022 COVID-19 Tests: Thank you for supporting the school in implementing the new NSW Health and Department of Education measures regarding COVID-19 testing. Please be advised that if your child is tested, and he/she receives a negative test result, you will need to forward a screen shot of your childs negative result to the school email account. The screen shot will need to include the text you received that shares your childs name and date of birth. You will need to wait for your child to not be showing any flu-like symptoms and a confirmation email from the school, before they can return. Please note: If your child has any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms, they need to get a COVID-19 test.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions our parent information session that was scheduled this Thursday the 10th September has been cancelled. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and Enews for a series of videos so your child can become familiar with the teachers and the school. The first instalment of our transition video clips will be released at the end of this week.

11.01.2022 Today Cooma Public Protesters had their first debate against Cooma Public Puzzlers as part of the Premiers Debating Challenge. The topic of our debate was that primary school kids should learn from home one day a week. Students connected with the other team and the adjudictor virtually. Both teams were commended for speaking clearly and putting forward some strong arguments. The winner of todays debate was Cooma Public Protesters who argued for the negative side. Well done teams, a fantastic effort!
