25.01.2022 Well after a disappointing foaling season with Bubbles not in foal and Erin foaled 8 weeks early so we lost the foal, we are now joining the girls again. Edgewood Bubbles is spending some quality time with Lynvale Lodge Fantom and Lerwick Queen Erin will be going back to Millbrae Medallion and hopefully all goes well with this pregnancy.

25.01.2022 Coo-Mar Park Ace of Spades out in the paddock playing with the old neck rug we put out with him to drag around his paddock. He gets very bored so I put all sorts of things out with him.

25.01.2022 Tonight is Ninja's last night at home. Tomorrow he will go to his new home where he is going to have his breaking in finished and he will be teaching the grand kids to ride. I wish them all the best with him and hopefully they get years of fun out of him!!

24.01.2022 Had a visit from a local family today in the hunt for a pony for their 7 year old son. They fell in love with Ace so it looks like the boy has found himself a new family where he will be very well loved!!

24.01.2022 Under 11 weeks until the first foal is due, Edgewood Bubbles x Lynvale Lodge Fantom baby, then another 3 weeks until Lerwick Queen Erin is due to foal to Millbrae Medallion in early October. Can't wait for them to start coming, it will be 3 years since my last foal!

24.01.2022 Just had Edgewood Bubbles preg tested today. Unfortunately she was found to be empty :( We will have to try again in September and hopefully we will get a better result :)

24.01.2022 This weekend hopefully we will be off to what will probably be our last show for the season, the Scots on the Swamp show at Tooradin on Sunday. Will taking Ace to his first show as a Gelding and we will also be taking out Lerwick Queen Erin for her first outing in a few years now.

23.01.2022 I have made the hard decision to geld Coo-Mar Park Ace of Spades. Owning only a couple of mares (one which is his dam) I don't feel it is worth keeping him as a colt. He will be gelded after the Wonthaggi Ag Show on the 11th of January and will then be offered for sale. If anyone is interested in him please feel free to enquire.

23.01.2022 Looking for a Shetland Stallion that stands at stud to join to an up to height mare next season. She will be a maiden mare. Looking for a 9.3-10.2hh stallion that stands on the South Eastern side of Victoria preferably as I’m located in South Gippsland. Colour not an issue, not fussy in that way, but the stallion needs to be good nice type and nice flowing straight movement. Must also have a quiet temperament and have an easy going attitude. Wanting to see what is out there to start my hunt to find the right boy for my mare.

He has been shown on 3 occasions so far this season while he was still a colt and was unfazed by the atmosphere of being out at the shows. He is fantastic to prepare for a show, stands perfect while being washed, loads on the float with ease, clip jaw with no problems and is very well behaved for the farrier. He has now been a Gelding since the start of January so is not coltish at all anymore. Very forward moving athletic pony that is very responsive. Has done a little bit of jumping with his previous owner and loved doing it. Has done some basic dressage training and moves away from your leg very well. He is a very athletic pony that would suit either a confident experienced rider. He is NOT a beginners pony. He is quiet but is not a plod along pony and would have a bit too much go for someone who had no experience. Would be an ideal sports pony doing dressage and jumping activities. 19.01.2022 COO-MAR PARK BRIDGET - SOLD Price $800 Registered APSB Shetland Filly... 2 years old, Piebald, mature approx. 10.1hh (currently unofficially measured at 10hh) Sire: Lynvale Lodge Fantom Dam: Edgewood Bubbles Lovely big filly that will suit showing then later being a Broodmare. To date she hasn’t been shown due to a lack of time but she is a nice type with height. She is good to get her feet done, stands well for the farrier. Good to worm and easy to catch, will follow you around the paddock. She has so far had the roller with side reins on and has been long reined the once as well as she has had one lunging lesson recently. For sale as I’m getting my number down so only keeping a couple of my girls to concentrate on them and only breeding the occasional foal in a couple years. 17.01.2022 Erin at the Scots on the Swamp show today being a good girl. She even went out in the Shetland Parade afterwards around the Harewood Estate house. Not a bad day out for the old girl, coming up 15 this year!

15.01.2022 Well Ninja has had his first 3 rides now and he is a very good little guy. He is only going to do a tiny bit under saddle until next spring when I really get started with him (unless sold before hand), but he is going to make a awesome little pony hasn't put a foot wrong yet!! Will get pictures once this heat wave has passed :)

15.01.2022 Bubbles out for her second long reining lesson. She was a very good girl apart from when she decided that the tractor bucket was going to eat her!!

15.01.2022 Ace with a new horse toy I got today. It is so funny to watch them play, hitting themselves with it all the time and wondering what the hell happened.

06.01.2022 FOR SALE - SOLD 3 year old Shetland Filly Magnolia Vale Callaway Dark Buckskin filly maturing right up to height Sire: Woodview Golden Phantom (Palomino)... Dam: Magnolia Vale Wisteria (Buckskin) Gentle filly that still needs more handling but will be a great pony once the time has been put into her. I really like this filly but I just don’t have the time to put the work into her that’s she needs to do her justice as my circumstances have changed since I purchased her as a weanling. She is a bit unsure of new people but once she knows you she is good to do anything with. Easy to drench and trim feet. She currently is difficult to catch until you get her in a small area then she is very easy, with more time put into her you should have any problems catching her out in the paddock (when I have been regularly doing a bit with her I was just starting to be able to catch her in the paddock so she will get back there without too much trouble). A good home is most important for her, I was planning on keeping her but have come to the conclusion that I won’t have time anytime soon for her and I’ve decided to not breed any ponies in the near future either so she is just sitting here being wasted. Approx 12.1hh, Dark Brown Quiet to handle even though only had limited handling. Can tie up, do feet and lead with no problems. Very eye catching well moving boy. He isn’t suitable to be paddocked with mares (too boisterous to be in with them) but can with no problems run beside and tie up next to them. 05.01.2022 D-Day has come! Ace and Mums Welsh A Stallion Fenwick Casey Jones have gone off to the Vets to get Gelded. Now we just have to wait for the call this afternoon to say it's all done and that they are ready to be picked up.

05.01.2022 Tom had another day out today at Wonthaggi Ag Show. He didn't come home with any platings (except a 3rd out of 3) but he was a very good boy, behaving better at every show. And before letting him back out in the paddock I decided to roughly measure him.... He came out around the 9.3hh mark so the boy is well and truly growing! 2 months ago he was only about 9.1hh!

04.01.2022 Bubbles having her first little ride. She was such a good girl and did all that was asked of her. Now with some bad weather coming for the next week I don't think there will be to much more progress but that is fine. She learnt how to lunge then never did it again for 12 months and was perfect so hopefully she will be the same with this....The joys of winter!!

02.01.2022 Breeding season is off and running. Edgewood Bubbles is out to stud seeing Oak Park Nicolodean. Lerwick Queen Erin on the other hand today had a trip to the Vets to see why she hasn't been coming in season. They say there is nothing as such wrong but she hasn't started doing anything to start coming in season, it is as if it is still the middle of winter and she is dormant :( Hopefully she changes her mind at some stage and starts cycling as I really want to get a foal out of her (filly please :) )
