05.01.2022 Recently our students watched the documentary Bear, Koala Hero about a koala detecting dog who helped find dozens of injured and starving koalas after the fires of earlier this year. We were then fortunate enough to be invited to visit Two Thumbs Wildlife Trust to further learn about the impact of the 2019/2020 bushfires on the local koala population. Our students spent time creating some wonderful thank you cards for Bear, Romane, Celine and James. We are so proud of the sensible and respectful behaviour our students demonstrated during this wonderfully informative visit. Thank you James for having us. 05.01.2022 Dear Parents, as you will no doubt be aware, in light of the new arrangements as determined by the NSW Government, NSW Department of Health and NSW Department of Education, school staff have been appointed an extra development day in order to prepare for changes to the delivery of student learning in Term 2. This means that students begin their Learning from Home timetable on Wednesday 29th April. Starting in Week 3 (Monday 11th March 2020), students will begin a staggered in...troduction back into the physical classroom. Families will be advised during week 1 as to what day their children will be attending. Learning from Home will continue throughout Term 2 and all students will be learning the same material whether at home or at school. As with last term, students who are more vulnerable to Covid19 due to health issues should continue to Learn from Home until it is deemed safe for them to return. In compliance with strict social distancing guidelines advised by the Department of Health and the Department of Education, admittance to school premises will be limited to staff, students and essential providers. Parents are asked to farewell their children at the gate. Should you require entry to the school, please phone ahead to discuss with staff. We thank you all for your understanding and cooperation during this tumultuous time and encourage you to call us should you have any questions or if you need clarification. Stay safe and well and we will talk to you all soon! #safefamilyenvironment See more
