15.01.2022 Today is a day of sunshine and blue skies. Every now and then, I am shown a new material, new lens or new colour finish which I love, but makes me wonder how I ...would use it. Whilst finishing STR, a recent addition to the Coombs+Co Collection, I knew I had the perfect shape for the new colour 'Sherbet Glow'. As the name suggests, this particular finish glows pink under black light... Yes it does! :) Polished GR1 titanium with argentium hinges and finished with a pink face and 40% royal pink Pol lenses. Also, in more than thirty years of making eyewear, this is the first pink frame I've ever made. 11.01.2022 I will be assembling some new frames at Coombs+Co today and tomorrow - Saturday + Sunday. With the current situation and warnings, we have a adopted a closed door policy, offering only private showings to allow people the opportunity to try on our creations. Should you be interested, we will only allow one customer / couple at a time to ensure both your and our health.... For each client visit, you are welcome to try pieces from our current collections along with our RetroSPECtive pieces. All frames will be set aside as they are tried on and will be individually cleaned before being displayed again. Please, if you are feeling unwell or have returned from overseas in the last 14 days, call me - 0419 031 440 - and we can organise something for you. We understand its a trying time for everyone and trust you will all respect our choices. Saying that, I look forward to seeing you all when life returns to a degree of normality.
