19.01.2022 Year One's Wild things in the Imaginarium Our awesome IT team went out and captured 360-degree footage of the Coomera Waters wetlands. The Year One students then created their Wild Things in art class, and pictures were taken of each final creation.... The IT team then took the digital pictures and cut out each monster so it could be added to the 360 video footage in an attempt to replicate what it might look like if they were living in the 'WILD'. The students had so much fun spotting their monsters and igniting their imaginations. #imagination #futurefocused #inQUIRY #thanksITteam

15.01.2022 The Junior Secondary refurbishment project is drawing closer to an end and is looking fantastic. Brand new furniture was delivered over the holidays, the landscaping is taking shape and outdoor learning spaces are being prepped. The project included an extension to the building with four brand new air-conditioned classrooms, play, and social spaces for the students, and an amphitheatre. With technology transforming the professional landscape at a more rapid pace than ever b...efore, the College recognises the significant importance of investing in facilities that align with a future-focused environment. By ensuring our classrooms are modern and equipped with the latest technology, the College will provide our students with the opportunity to deal with an ever-changing modern workplace. #bringonterm4 #futurefocused #brandnewfeels #modern #fresh #investinginthefuture
15.01.2022 Last week, our talented, enthusiastic Year 9 Drama students had the pleasure of performing their original plays in the style of Children’s Theatre to our excited Primary students. The Imaginarium hosted the performances for the first time, which proved to be a fabulous, interactive space for both performers and audience members. The Primary students were entertained by a pirate adventure, an animal circus, and a Disney game show, to name a few. The Pod was filled with great joy, giggling children, and inspiring acting! Sharing the love of the Performing Arts is what we aim to do at the College, as it is a wonderful and most valuable experience for all!

05.01.2022 CBSQ Primary 3 on 3 State Championships Congratulations to the Primary students who represented the College last week at the CBSQ (Champion Basketball School Queensland) 3 on 3 State Championships. The 3 on 3 competition is a new concept introduced this year and it proved very popular with a large number of schools competing from all over the state. The College had three teams competing in both the Boys and Girls competition.... The Girls team played 10 games winning 8 and losing only 2. They were very unlucky to not have played in the Semi-Finals but missed out on a countback. They finished a very credible 5th place. Our boys’ teams played very well and both ended up making the quarter-finals. Unfortunately, they played each other meaning only the winner could proceed in the competition. Our CAC 1 team eventually placed 2nd in Division Two grand final which was a tremendous achievement. A big thank you to Mr. Goldfinch, Mr. Lawyer, and Mr. Gonzales for coaching the teams in the competition.
