24.01.2022 It’s really important this week for all coaches managers families and friends to consider their capacity in helping and volunteering for next season planning is in place and it’s important to see where the gaps are at our club. Please take a few minutes to look at our job role board for next year which will be outside the club tonight and Thursday and pop your name down where you can support. Please encourage all families to come and take a look - all input and support is valuable in all roles no matter how big or small Executive team nominations are open too!

17.01.2022 Volunteer of the Week - Chantelle Keating. Chantelle is such a family orientated person, she is always on hand last minute to help out in the canteen (like last night), or to do any little job the club requires even though she doesn’t have any children at the club (yet..)!!!! she a new mum to the gorgeous Harley who’s only approx 8 weeks old but shows commitment to her nephew in the 12’s and friends children in the superstars and 10’s. Thanks for your help Chantelle it’s truely grateful x

16.01.2022 Volunteer night 2020 Last night we hosted our first juniors volunteers night - to give back and say thank you to all those who week in week out volunteer to support the running of our club. Lots of fun, food, thank you’s and prizes won! Here at Coomera we appreciate each and every person who helps out in any little way - we are a TEAM here - Together Everyone Achieves More. 14.01.2022 The Senior club had their EGM last night and fresh committee nominated it. The goal for 2021 is to bridge the gap between the juniors and seniors and to create a positive pathway for football post youth. Already the gap is beginning to close with a number of our junior parents joining the masters team (over 35’s) what a great turn out last night New committee is: ... President: Rob Templeton (president for three yes) Secretary: Faye Paling (also junior secretary) Vice President: Jason Fitzgerald Vice President: Daman Foy (masters coach) Vice President: Danny Anyos Treasurer: Vacant Thankyou to the above members that have committed to the club for the 2021season. It's great to have some new faces on board which will definately benefit the club in its persuit to become a club of destination on the nothern Gold Coast. We would like to thank our outgoing secretary Nakia Williamson for her commitment and dedication to the club over the last 4 years in the position and also our treasurer Denise Williamson for stepping into the role for the 2020 season. We are on the hunt for a treasurer so if anyone is keen to get on board please contact us. Previous experience in bookkeeping is a must. Our general committee will be confirmed over the next week so if your keen to help in any capacity please contact any of the above. We will now get to work to ensure we provide all our players with a great environment to not only play but a club that all or our members can be proud of. From Rob - senior president

Please do not assume the current committee are re-nominating - we are always looking for new fresh faces and ideas. Forms can be found in the club house on the bar Nominations need to be given to Faye (secretary) prior to 20th October. ... All families are encouraged to attend the AGM - goes for about an hour and this seasons and it’s financials are reviewed

11.01.2022 Thank you to Bronte, Mackenzie and Zoe from our 13.5 girls with offering their time to help raise money and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House charity at the Upper Coomera restaurant today. the girls helped to raise $600 in cash donations,great work girls

Whilst the administrator is at work saving lives the parents are disgruntled thier message isn’t answered Whilst the manager is at the Dr’s as their child is sick the parent is agitated as they are waiting for team updates. ... Everyone has another story going on - patience and gratitude goes along way. 01.01.2022 And we’re back training for 9’s to 16’s this week We had a great turnout at Saturday’s sign on day, with a few new children and families! Welcome! Just a reminder to ensure all children are a signed up and ready to go. If you don’t get a chance to this before tomorrow’s training session, please ensure you complete the permission to train / waiver form at the clubhouse. This form will be valid for 30 days and allow your child to train until their full registration is complete. Here’s to a great 2021!
