24.01.2022 Saturday footy @ home was a cracking game!!! We played Southport black and the competition was tough, they were a good side. The kids played tough and fought it all the way to end and never gave up which was admirable. The award winners this week from the parents was Chayce and the coaches award went to Jaxon. The club also gave an award to Leo this week, recognising his improvements from last year. Well done boys u all played well and we are very proud of you. ... As a team you all played really well and it's so nice to see your skills and confidence grow week to week.

24.01.2022 Massive thank you to our bunnings sausage sizzle helpers on Sunday!!! It was such a great day and everyone was awesome. The energy was unreal and customers were loving our vibe.. The generosity from all our customers was overwhelming, so many times I heard keep the change and even had donations from people not purchasing anything from us. Might have had some other clubs who came and bought from us too . Massive thank you to bunnings oxenford for having us for the day!! All... your staff members were extremely friendly and helpful which helped the day flow so easily and made it very enjoyable for all. Another big thank you to Coles Coomera City for donating $100 worth of sausages and helping us out with all of our other purchasing needs. Special mention to Jess from Coles who was a delight to work with and was able to make all this happen for us. I want to individually thank Adrian & Ethan(16s) & Chris (8s) for the early morning set up and breaky run. Shannon (9s) and Bee (10s) for the very busy morning to lunch time run. Ghost (10s) and Veronica (8s) for the arvo shift and end of day pack up. A big thank you to Sarah (8s) who was the main organiser of this fund-raiser who was there from beginning to end, making sure everything ran smoothly, and it did Jake (8s) was also there from start to finish and cooked up a storm on the bbq all day. You all did a fantastic job and we are all extremely thankful for your help, we couldn't have done it without you!!!! Cheers Sam

22.01.2022 Today our awesome 9s had their last home game for the season and what a game it was!!!! They played a talented ormeau blue side and the scores were tight all the way through, not that we were scoring They all put in 110% and it showed as they all came off red faced and quiet at the quarter time breaks lol. Afew different goal kickers today which was awesome to see and plenty of kids getting plenty of the ball. Love the way they are really sharing the ball around and supporting team mates with some great shepharding Our award winners today could have really gone to nearly everyone . The parent's award went to Tiernan and the coach's awards went to Isabella and Tayvn . Love the way the kids celebrate the award winners every wk with a good old head rub

19.01.2022 Our volunteer of the week goes to Jake! Not only did he spend around 10 hours yesterday at our BBQ, he took on coaching our second 8s team, helps in the canteen,sets our grounds up and even cleans our toilets!!!! We are grateful to Jake for all you do for the club!

Please take a few minutes to look at our job role board for next year which will be outside the club tonight and Thursday and pop your name down where you can support. 16.01.2022 Today what a game the boys had out at surfers. It was the best I've seen them play as a team and all the kids played their roles and played them well. The skill level from our kids today was awesome, so many great marks taken and some really good decision making. It's so pleasing to see all the hard work Pete and trav are putting in with the kids shining through on game day. So a very big clap to the kids for taking on board all that they are being taught. Nearly every kid ...could have got an award today which is so fantastic and a great problem to have lol. Our parents award this week went to Cooper and our coaches awards went to Spencer and Tayvn . The most tackles today went to Chayce . Well done boys you all had cracking games today. Good work from all the boys today, their effort was unreal and I think we may have snagged the 4 points Go Pies

08.01.2022 Happy Monday Sorry in advance for the long post.... Tuesday nights starting from tomorrow we will be holding a members draw. Every purchase made at the bar/canteen will recieve a raffle ticket. At 6pm a ticket will be drawn and winner recieves a $50 Visa gift card. If the ticket holder is not present the voucher will be rolled over to the following Tuesday, so prize will go upto $100 the following Tuesday and so on. ... There will be $1 sausage sizzle this Tuesday. Thursday night dinner this week pie n chips $6, orders in by Wednesday night.. Meat raffle and bar will be open Thursday. You all pushed yourselves out ...of your comfort zones and this showed by smashing our target! 391km as a club!!! You smashed the 250km set to you! 07.01.2022 Great game of footy on Saturday morning from the under 9s. We played pac pines black @ pac pines and the kids were in fine form. They played a strong game, dominating from the middle with a solid forward line and fierce back line that wasn't letting anyone get through. The kids all look like they are really enjoying their football now with plenty of smiles and encouragement toward each other. They even sung the song this week Our award winners this week from the parents ...it was Luka and Ryland who both played out of their skins this week and the coaches award went to Cooper who was a solid backman this week who wasn't letting anyone or anything get past him. Most tackles this week went to Cooper Great game by all and seeing their happy little faces is making all the time we are all putting in, all worth it and so rewarding. See more

02.01.2022 Saturday morning @ the nest!!! The 9s played against the mudgeeraba Spartans today in what I thought was a pretty even game. The tackling was really good and our chase and want for the ball really showed. Some of our newer plays are really starting to find their feet are looking more confident week to week Our award winner from the parents was Luka and the coaches awards went to Cody and Ryland, well done boys u all played really well and were all very deserving this week.... Well done to all under 9s, u all played really well today, your hunger for the ball and never give up attitude was awesome and we are all very proud.
