22.01.2022 Exciting news! We are going to be OPEN this long weekend. The committee is taking measures at the office to protect members and themselves. There rules regarding Social distancing that need to be observed. We ask that you please respect them and take the appropriate measures to protect yourself.... We cannot guarantee that visitor facilities eg toilets and showers and other touch points are disinfected. It is your responsibility to wash your hands and maintain good hygiene when using shared facilities. Start making plans!! And stay tuned for more information.

21.01.2022 We will be open for social riding this weekend. Like all Australians, we’re closely monitoring the latest developments regarding COVID-19. We take our responsibility for the safety of our members and the wider community seriously, and as such we will be adhering to the NSW Government’s most recent determinations with regards to Covid-19. ... Please take note of the following points as advised by NSW health; All participants, family members, and volunteers should not attend our facility if they are feeling unwell You must not attend if you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days Be sure to manage your own personal hygiene by cleaning your hands regularly Please assist the club by bringing your own sanitary items where possible (toilet rolls, hand sanitizer etc) If you need to sneeze or cough, please do so into a tissue/handkerchief or your upper arm or elbow. Motorcycling NSW will continue to monitor the situation, work with the organisation’s and follow the recommendations provided by the government agencies. 13.01.2022 Following the recommendations yesterday From NSW Health, we have decided to close the facility for the next 6 weeks or until the recommendations change. Sorry guys this is totally out of our control at the moment. NEW RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COMMUNITY SPORT... FROM NSW HEALTH Due to uncertainty in the continually changing health environment, shown below are new recommendations for community sport that have been advised today by Dr Kerry Chant, Chief Medical Officer, NSW Health. Sporting organisations are requested to commence implementation of these recommendations by Wednesday, 19 August and it is anticipated that they will be in place for the next six (6) weeks. At this stage, community sport may be able to continue as it is currently being implemented providing that it does not require inter-regional mixing including activities which bring together participants (including spectators and officials) from organisations in different regions of Sydney, from a rural area into a metro area and vice versa, and movement between different rural areas. It is essential that all community sports organisations have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place, and are fully compliant with their Plan: https://www.nsw.gov.au//community-sporting-competitions-an NSW Health continues to monitor the situation throughout the State, and the Office of Sport and Sport NSW will communicate any future recommendations, which we will continue to advise all members and clubs. 11.01.2022 With the relaxing of Covid restrictions, WE will be OPEN on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th Oct, 8am-4pm. Hopefully this will be the start of good things to come. Please do not come if you are unwell or have been in contact with a Covid positive person. Please remember to practice social distancing and be respectful of other riders and officials. Set up your pit away from others and please don't bring any non essential people with you.

10.01.2022 Just a bit of house keeping for the weekend. If you are unwell or have been in hot spot for Covid 19 we request that you do not attend our facility. With the social distancing rules in place we ask that you be mindful of them and that you are patient with signing in. This may take a little longer than usual as the committee work through the new paperwork and rules.... Please set up your pits with the social distancing in mind. With the no reception at the track we do not have eftpos. Please bring cash. The committee will be taking extra precautions with handling the cash and your health and the health of our committee is our priority. There has been talk of people wanting to attend other weekends. At this stage we do not have any other open dates but these will be set shortly so you can all make plans to visit us. Please don’t just turn up expecting us to be open. You will be turned away.

04.01.2022 There have been quite a few enquiries regarding us reopening. At this stage we do not have an open date. We are guided by MXNSW, who are guided by the Office of Sport and Health NSW and once we get the green light to open we will post for you all to see. Hopefully not to much longer.

02.01.2022 After the announcement of more restrictions from the Federal Government last night in regards to the Covid 19 virus, Coona MX & Enduro Club at Goanna Tracks has no choice but to CLOSE temporarily. At this time our biggest concern is the health and well being of our members, the committee, our families and our community. The situation will be monitored as time goes by and the committee will make a decision down the track when restrictions are lifted and we believe it is safe ...to reopen. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. Stay safe and healthy, and we hope to see you when it's all over.

If you have travelled to any know hot spot in the past 14 days or are unwell you WILL be turned away. For those that have made enquiries this applies to you also.
